I just joined the club . My Nex 3 arrived this morning. Holy cow, I am impressed. First shots OOC, no PP, with Voigtlaender Nokton 50mm f/1.5 wide open:
Been awhile since I posted. Wanted to share how much I enjoy peaking mode. I don't bother with MF assist anymore. These are either 50_1.5 or 75_2.5 CVs.
Bad news is I just went under the knife for ACL surgery day before yesterday, AND my nex-5 is back again for repair (still have vg10 though)
great to see the thread up and goinf with so many wonderful images.
congrats on the new lens, hope it really is in good shape. it is a very special lens and that price sounds better than most of what i've seen them going for.
sorry to hear about the ACL, skiing accident, motorbiking, or other?
The zuiko is not that big but relatively heavy. The adapter is about an inch in length and coupled with the lens, adds some length but I like the overall feel.

Thanks, Bob. Though I have a lot of lenses to use on the next, I am still looking for a very small always on lens with excellent IQ.
Morfeus, in the unlikely event that a learned and able photog like you hasn't got it on his radar screen, my ZM 35C f:2.8 fits your description pretty well IMHO. Small, light, superior IQ.
Yes Philippe, this is on my list. I am also contemplating about the Hexanon 40mm f/1.8 pancake, as many describe it at super sharp and relatively small. Have never tried one though.
