Which model, André? I've got the original M-mount and it's a stunner. As sharp as the latest, but more prone to flare and not quite a punchy in the contrast and colors. The hood is must.

It's The silver from The 60s, só I guedes is the same as yours.
Have to find a hood... Maybe a rubber one?

That would certainly be cheaper than the 12575N original, but the OEM is a clip on that can be reversed and comes with a cap that fits over the reversed hood and front element. It's a very nice design that goes for anywhere between $60 and 135, so it may be worth it to you. Regardless of how you go, enjoy the lens. I've used it on both the 5N and 7 and have been nothing but impressed with it.
Cool, thanks. I bookmarked and will be following with interest. I plan to add a 135 eventually, and was considering both the the Konica and MD, so I'll be interested to see what you think.
If the Canon 70-200 loses, do you think it'll throw a fit and crush all of the other lenses?

Davidex, love the flower series, in particular #1 - #3! For the last tree, at least on this iPad screen there's some nasty halos. The Mir 20 looks great - dont know what lens it is but will have to have a look ..
Thanks Wilhelm! In fact, with regard to the tree, I think it is due to a bad use of the command shadows / highlights in PS. I purchased the Mir 20 several years ago .... I have used this lens with the Nikon F3 and also with the 5D, but I noticed that it didn't a good quality performance in the corners, however, the NEX has the APS-C and the excellent contrast of this lens does a good work.
Following this thread for quite a while now. While you are showing me what excellent results are possible out of this little NEX cams was the main reason for me to get a NEX-7.
Now she has arrived - together with the spring.
Thanks a lot for your great inspirations and keep posting.
Just for fun, an extreme close up 1:1 crop with the NEX-7 and highly modified Contax G 45mm F2. Not very stopped down a lot either if you can tell from the not quite enough DoF.
Yup, that Sub was $100,000+. Unsure of the value because it's in extremely rare perfect condition. The last one like it auctioned a bit higher but this one is in even better condition.
As for the 45, I'll start a thread about it later on.
