sholt, #3 is absolutely great. It's so easy to forget the kitlens once caught in the MF carrousel, and in that Mexican jungle the 18-55 span must have been really useful.

Before it was simpler, ZM 25 vs 24 Elmar..Now you make it ZM 25 vs 24 Elmar vs 28 Elmar Asph, I really hate you, love the rendering in those 28 Elmar pics of yours
Lenticular, your lilies are spooky..bet it looked good in high contrast B&W.
The Mitty & Fly, thanks! I was using the 21 with the miniature effect. The ZF 21 looks weir with the 5N but the files were lovely, a side note though, all my ZF lenses wouldn't go to infinity with my F adapter
Thanks, Marco..Oops, I've forgot..the first was not made by ZF 21 but Leica-R 50 cron instead. Lovely lens but ZM 50 Planar beats it..
I've been comparing the G21 I bought with a ZE21 and the kit lens. My G21 seems very soft. I don't have an adapter that will let me change the aperture of the ZE lens on my NEX so I compared the G21 wide open with the ZE (top row). The kit lens minimum was f/4 (it was 20mm instead of 21mm) so I also compared the G21 at f4 (bottom row)
Did I get a bad G21?
Center crops (long distance):
Center crop (ZE vs G) (short distance. Focus was on Chopper's eye)

Yes its soft. How do you focus?
Nice #3 Partitura, I think I can blame Philippe too for occasionally checking availability of that lens :-)
Interestingly I've been adapting a ZF21 to a mirex on a nex7 and the other day I shot the same house with both the 21ZF and the G28 biogon and found the G28 to be strikingly sharper that the 21ZF. I need to do a better test and I think the adaptation needs more work now as well but I was surprised at how different the two were.
Not sure what to say about your 21 but I got a G35-70[ from KEH that was terrible so they can go awry. You may need to get a CLA done.
