A much better light today! This is my favorite February location,
the window is very short to capture the best stage…
I'm really happy with what I got today, more pictures at:
After having played this week-end with my newly-purchased Leica R 35-70 f:3.5, I came to the conclusion that I love having a lesser-contrast softer-colour alternative to my Zeiss glass. Any idea what Minolta WA would fit that bill? Ideally, 21mm or wider?
Hi, I am first time poster long time lurker.
Here is several of my attempts during quick holiday in a resort area in Indonesia. Mostly using Biogon 35F2, f4.0 I believe. OOC, resized using PMB. Your c&c are much appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome to FM, Hermann! One of the best uses I have seen of this lens...
Philippe: Thanks a lot on both counts!
Since 24mm (equivalent) is my favourite focal length there is nothing else for it but to practice, practice, practice ...

A 20/2.8, 17-35/3.5 G for wider than 21mm. The 20 is decent but not outstanding, the 17-35G is big.
At a little shorter than 21mm, the A 24/2.8 is reasonably small and reasonably good, with a classic Minolta look. It's better than the 20/2.8 for sure, and better than the 17-35G at 24mm.
You could also look at the Rokkor 20/2.8 or 21/2.8.

Can you compare the Leica R 35-70 f:3.5 to the Contax 35-70 3.4 in terms of image quality? I missed where you explained your love/hate to that lens. Would like to hear more about what you like about the Leica.
