Lovely set, Andrew! And no, I could not view cherry blossoms in Japan. Too early in the season, I was told. I could have gone to a plum-blossom viewing festival, but opted to go to Hakone instead.

The ZA E 24 is actually very nice for manual focus. You need to get used to the velocity-sensitive focus ring, but its well damped and quite precise once you get used to it. It's also nice and wide and easy to grip. I actually prefer it to all but the best MF lenses.
