Did a little NEX-5 and Nikkor shooting at a "Pet Expo" earlier today. Went to meet up with our grandson, who was there with his St. Bernard puppy. Didn't get any shots of his puppy, but got one of him playing with somebody else's puppy. These were shot with a Nikkor 50/1.2, mostly at f/2 or f/2.8. The lighting in this underground convention facility was really horrible, but ISO1600 and some wide apertures saved the day.
Yeah, not my idea of a pet, for sure. Kinda hard to warm up to, I thought. The Emu was in a "petting zoo", along with a porcupine. I couldn't figure out how or why you would want to pet either of them, and I sure wouldn't keep them as a pet! Our grandson like them though.

uhoh, unfortunately I see quite a bit of residual colour shift on your shots with the CV 21. I had hoped that you or someone else could show me the way to correct my Contax G 21 from the same troubles, because it is such a fantastic lens, which I purchased for use with the NEX...still, I can get some decent B&W from it...
Hi Philber,
Just early days for me with cornerfix. I still need good grey card shots. I will also email some of the CF folks to get help.
I know what you mean: it's a real sweet lens.
We need a CV/nex community to draft some real experts!
Uhoh, what we need is a database of Cornerfix profiles, which would take the pain out of using it. So far, I have unsucessfully tried to correct my 21G and a ZM 25. But, if I can get it done, I will gladly share the profiles with others, and, hopefully, vice versa.
