Well I will offer up a second, but instead of combing thousands of pics on the computer. I chose two osprey pics that I sort of equally like. First is full frame and the other is a crop.

Hello everyone! Although my photography outings this year have been few and far between, one morning this past May was special. Watching 16 Wood Duck chicks make their initial leap from the nest box is something I'll never forget. This is one from that morning.
This is such a classic photo Doug! Don't think we will ever forget this image.
Ekoe - the puffins are on my wish list. They are just way too cute!
Another great shot Jody, as always! Love your first head-on shot of the kestrel
Nice shots Denovo2k1. Ospreys are my favorite to photograph, especially when they are about to catch their preys.
Gary - nice work on the BG and catch light
Arman - tell us about this shot. Was it a territorial dispute and the young one was just happened to be at the wrong place wrong time? I witnessed similar event between the avocets.
Howard - that first shot is INCREDIBLE! Can you share with us on the settings for this particular shot? thanks.
Dominic - awesome closeup shots of the raptor! Love the lighting too
MY_POV - cool shot man.
Eric - another great shot! hope you have that one enlarged!

Thanks Thang. The aurora was taken with the 5d and 17-35L at 17mm. The iso was 800, f-stop f2.8 and 20 sec exposure. It was an incredible trip. Well worth standing in the cold for hours.
