I can report that O'Doul's is one step above donkey piss... Leighton knows what he's talking about!
Only five more bottles to go, but I definitely have to re-think this matter. I may have to spend a couple extra bucks a six pack if I want decent non-alcoholic beer... though it shocks me to say I'd be concerned about such a thing given my great love for Lagunitas outstanding ales I've enjoyed so much over the years AND talked about on this thread. I may have to buy a six-pack of Maximus...
Just give me a case of Bud Light a tall bottle of Grey Goose
and another bottle of Mount Gay Rum and you all can keep all that "No Buzz" stuff
You're still a young man Reagan, you can handle the stuff.
I by and large stopped drinking beer, wine and whisky two years ago and have felt better for it. On a couple of occasions I've picked something up, like when a friend waxed eloquently about J. Lohr Cabernet. I drank two or three bottles over a couple of weeks. Yes, it tasted good but then I'd wake up in the middle of the night sweating beneath my covers and would have trouble going back to sleep. I also got together on a couple of occasions for a sporting event and as I've done dozens of times, showed up with a six-pack of Lagunitas ale and had similar experiences. I've not dabbled with whisky over the last two years... perhaps I should experiment with that to see... but my sense is my body is happier when I don't drink an alcoholic beverage.
But I know you're an experienced drinker who enjoys exactly what you list above. I've no idea whether you can really tell the difference between Grey Goose and any other vodka, but it you love it, enjoy. Bud Light I don't get. That isn't really beer, is it? Mount Gay Rum has never passed my lips but I remember fondly the few occasions when I drank Myers dark rum.
Whatever you drink, stay safe Reagan. We won't live forever but from what I hear this is not an easy way to go out. I hope we can all avoid that...
I generally have plenty of options Doug and at good prices... but the coronavirus has made going to either of the three Trader Joe's stores in Marin a dicey proposition. They do reserve their first hour for folks over sixty, but a friend drove by and saw such a mass of people she let it go. I'm playing with the possibility of visiting near closing, but the last time I visited many shelves were bare, so I'm not at all certain I'd get what I want. Besides, at the end of the day the store is probably not a very safe place to be... so I'm checking other options... Perhaps water is the best one... it comes through a filter sitting on my kitchen sink and it always tastes good.
Ahhh... welcome to the club... though I'm under no orders as Leighton is. I vaguely remember now Reagan that you said something about this some time ago. I dip in here so rarely it is difficult for me to stay current. Yes, I've not let go of my brandy glass, my wine glasses, my glass beer mug or my Glencairn whisky glasses. I guess I still long for that single malt Scotch...
Good to see those pictures Rafael. Even when places like Disneyland do get opened up, there's going to be new protocols - its going to be a bit different.
That must be quite some logistics to work out Leighton.

Oh man, I had to come out of hiding to correct you. O'douls is nasty and it's NOT my favorite, Bucklers, made by Heineken is. Now, back to hiding.
I'm going to try to post some when I can, but I'm extremely busy trying to work with the City of Staunton to have some sort of farmers' market. I should have quit the manager job when I retired from vending last year.
After a long absence a contribution from me. A lot of things kept me away from using MF-lenses. The most important reason was that I just didn't enjoy it. Photography was on a lower plan. New job after almost a year of unemployment. Three funerals (best friend and photo buddy, mother in law and mother) gave me a lot to think about.
This morning I put 3 MF-lenses in the bag and we went to "De Zaanse Schans", a kind of open air museum. Normally (over)crowded with people from everywhere, but these days it's empty.
Nippon Kogaku 5.8/1.4 from 1959, only a few years younger than I am.

Raphael good selections for old photos. Really enjoyed them
Which brings me into the archives of almost a year ago. From the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. May the last shot pick up any ones spirits that nay need a boost!
One for Rafael - Nikon Nikkor AIS 300mm F2 ED IF in mint condition on ebay, although the price does reflect the seller is aware of its rarity. It has a make offer button...
