Going to move my son out of college tomorrow. He has been home the last week, but got the final word that the semester is done. All online. Our cul-de-sac will now have 7 college students online, 9 elementary/middle school students and 18 adults working from home. Will definitely be a test of the internet pipe to our neighborhood. And that is just in one small street.

Your neighborhood sounds very much like the one I grew up in.

Looking at the positive side of all this mess, the neighborhood is actually starting to look like a "neighborhood". Instead of travel ball, soccer, dance, insert after work activity here.... People are out walking, playing with their kids, kids playing in the street together and maybe actually sitting down to dinner as a family
George, I live too far out to notice much of a difference here. The usual suspects are busy building a home for themselves.
We used the few days off from work to deep clean the house, put up a garden fence and a trampoline and get some other things in and around the house done. Can't say I have experienced anything negative in the avoidance of social contacts yet. Of course, this isn't a situation that should be upheld for any period of time, but a short unexpected holiday really has me do all the things I did not manage to finish before we moved in here.
Nice to see a lot of people back on the forum. I´ve got some time home now, still having a mild cold and not allowed to go to work, my son is also a bit under the weather, so we´ve been home doing some homework and playing some videogames today We took a small walk in the sun and went to a little convenient store nearby to buy some lunch. Brought the camera on this short micro-walk....
Conicidence Leighton is on the forum again?
All shot with the 50-135mm f/3.5 ais
Had to drop my wife off at the hospital this morning at 6.30am (she is a Psych Nurse), sun was out so I parked up on the Esplanade and took a few pics. Again, XT2 + dumb adapter + 20mm UD. It would appear that my Lens Turbo is stuck in transit somewhere between China and here

Lovely pictures there, Andy. Seems like you are managing well without the Lens Turbo so far.
Serge, XH-1's are now sold out. I'm safe now. I also have a camera stuck at Nikon Repairs for what's going to seem like an eternity with this Corvid situation. Waiting for spare parts.
Also working from home today. I don't enjoy it but it might soon be mandatory. On the plus side, I can step out for some fresh air/views. Dense fog in the morning, bright sunshine now.
Hello all, I used to post on this forum when I shot manual glass on my Nikon Df. I never quite bonded to that camera because of ergonomic issues. I did like the sensor though! Anyway, I'm back. With a Nikon Z6 which I like very much. And of course the EVF has benefits for shooting manual, using peaking and zoom.
This image was shot with my Z6 and Nikkor 105mm f2.5 AIs. Retro look done in post.

I love the 55mm f1.2. Nikkor-S or SC. I fell for the SC hard but decided I don’t need 4 of them so I ended up selling two and added two 5.8cm f1.4 which I also love.
