A shot from last week of the creek that separates our suburb from the next one south.
It comes out at the south end of our beach and has crocodiles in it, a 3 metre example seen 10 metres from the beach last week. We don't swim at our beach

Hey gang. I am going to get rid of my Z6 kit. Going to offer up to regular members of this thread first and then post on the Buy Sell on Wednesday.
If you are interested shoot me a PM.
Z6, 24-70 f/2.8, 14-30 f/4 and 50 f/1.8 Z lenses. Due to shipping costs US only.
Indeed, and what I find most satisfying is that this is all from a single exposure at f8. We know from Andy that you can obtain far more detail from focu stacking, but this lens does a good job at getting acceptable detail from a single exposure.
(I bet it can do even better when focus stacking, but I will try and maximise the single exposures first before going down that route)
Buddy - funny you should mention focus stacking. Can't wait to see what you produce with your setup.
I have never tried focus stacking before but did so during my lunchtime break today.
Over the weekend I watched some videos on how to focus stack landscape images.
So I tried it of a couple of colorful plants in my back garden.
Each one 4-5 images, processed in LR then stacked in Photoshop before going back to LR for final tweaks.
Well one positive side of having to work from home during this mess is the commute is a lot better. So instead of riding the interstate after work, I took a walk in the woods

Iīm currently got a mild cold so staying home from work, new company policy, which is totally understandable. So right now I have some extra time for a few days ahead (in case it donīt get worse....)
Andy, nice black and white. I can see why dont you swim in that creek....
Phong, nice beach scene.
Buddy, some really nice close-up there. Are you happy with the D800?
Colin, thatīs some sharp stuff right there. I need to try this whole thing with focus stacking...
George, yeah some positive things come out of this circus too. Really nice b/w shots!

Good thinking about not swimming - this guy's from the Kruger Park where some of the crocs are 4 and a bit metres long. This one was around 31/2 . Only when you see them move, rapidly, do you realise just how deadly they can be.
