A pair from July - vintage racing on vintage glass.
20mm f/3.5 AI on D810 - a little bit of a self portrait there in the bottom, Should consider a camera on a monopod with remote trigger but I am afraid one day I'll drop it on a car.

One of my favourite image threads, thank you all.
Same here! There's always excellent photography here with a wide range of subjects and styles that show how great these older Nikkors are!
Here is my humble offering for this weekend, representing my final set from the Southern Gulf Islands in June. I haven't done a lot of photography since then, though I do have a few more posts' worth to come. These were all taken with the 50-135 f/3.5 on my Fuji X-T2.
Long, long, way to get to Raphael and Peter's standard but there was nice light after my son had washed/waxed his car so the 55/1.2 SC got a few clicks on the camera.
Well shoot... My eyes just aren’t getting any better. Took the little one to the zoo for the first day of fall. I had maybe 1 in 20 shots in something resembling focus. Tried with glasses on and off. Even tried using the rear screen. No luck. So, if I want to do anymore photography, will have to be autofocus. I will keep my macro 55/3.5 since it’s something I use with a tripod and rear LCD, but the rest will have to go. Will probably hang onto my N90 film body since it does AF, but the F2 will need to go.
That last one with the 180 ED is just fab, so much detail!! I consider to sell my old 80-200mm f/2.8 ED af push-pull (even though it hurts) to be able to buy a 180mm ED.

I have no idea where I'm up to on my India journey
Selfie of sorts, a decorative thing on the front wall of our hotel in Jaipur I think
Hey Kevin .... sorry to hear about the eyes ..... sounds not too good !!
As for shopping .... I'm always window shopping and sometimes buying. Have an interest in your one of your F2's depending on which model head they have.
Back to Malta
We seem to like a ferry shot here .... so a couple of ferry pix between the Island of Malta and Gozo
The second shot is the Gozo ferry leaving the Port at Mgarr on Gozo
When you get to Gozo, one trip you just must do is to the far end to the Inland Sea at Dewra ..... lots of dive schools, and a beautiful place, though rock beach. Then get a boat out in to the Med through the tunnel ..... great thing to do.
Some times you have to queue up for a boat, even in the rain and storm. But it is worth it. The boat keepers are always there to come up if there is a long queue.
The boathouses have an archway in the middle of the arc of them, making for an interesting framed view in to the tunnel out to sea.

I am the wrong person to ask Kristian. Curtis (or does Kevin live nearby too? ) would know. I have an n=2. It was foggy for the brief time I was there this time. Last time (over 15 years ago, and I had no interest in photography unfortunately at that time) I was in San Francisco for a conference and there was no fog when I did a quick drive to the bridge. I remember a crisp view of the city across the bay that time, from this same spot.

Love this one Samy! Is it always foggy around the Golden Gate?

It’s very common for the Golden Gate to be fogged in. There are many vantage points to catch it in various states of foggy. Very photogenic bridge.
Yes. I´ve seen a lot of really cool shots of the bridge, most of them in fog, it´s really an impressive piece of work
Sorry to hear about your eyes Kevin. Going AF seems like a good idea, perhaps we´ll see some of your work in the other thread, MF shooting with af?
