Isabella Stewart Gardner museum in Boston.
Bags were not allowed so I had to check-in my camera rucksack.
I was left with the 50/2 H on the IR camera and the 24-120 on the D610.
Three more from Amsterdam, The Rjksmuseum home of Rembrandt's Night Watch. Unfortunately, did not have time to visit the art works but the grounds are amazing and a must see spot in this historical city.
Fuji X-E1 and trusty 28/2.8 AIs:
The back of the museum. Could not resist the little blue electric vehicle.
Further back, view of the large pond with the beautiful colors of the tulips display. When I saw this, had to pick my jaw off the floor.
Walking around the grounds, stumbled across the magic fountain. Step inside and one comes out bone dry, very cool.
A pity you haven’t had the time to visit the museum as (according to the sign at the museum) all Rembrandts paintings are now exibited in the museum.
The electrical vehicle is a kind of riskja.

A pity indeed specially being a big fan of Rembrandt's works. I was aware before arriving that all of his paintings would be on display and was looking forward to spending some quality time in the museum.
Hopefully, there will be a next time.
Speaking of electrical vehicles, noticed quite a few Tesla Model S being used as taxis at the airport. Awesome, the S is one serous performance automobile guaranteed to get one to their destination in a hurry.
Regards,
Serge

Cool IR from the Isabella Stewart Gardner museum Colin.
Serge, that second setting with the tulips is amazing, that had to be great to see and feel in person. The "all Rembrandts" in the building just made this a destination at some point in the future!
The following processed in an uncalibrated workflow, but something to keep things moving. D700 55mm f2.8 AIS. (Edit - replaced with properly processed pic)
Thanks for giving us a report Laura. I have to defer to those among us who've had the experience of a liquid diet since the only liquid diet I've ever been on had a fair amount of single malt Scotch whisky in it...
I expect with this kind of surgery, even when you're home with won't be to pot roast. You'll likely be on a bland diet for awhile. But home cooking is always better than hospital food. Rest well.
In the spirit of a liquid diet I'll post a flower photo in black and white... Imagine that. I have a recollection that Ken B posted a quite stunning black and white photo sometime in the distant past. I did it simply because this particular iris has pretty subdued colors. I converted the image in Silver Efex Pro 2 just to see how it turned out. Needless to say I liked it because here it is...
I shot this with the 180 f/2.8 AI-s with a 20mm Vivitar extension tube attached. To increase depth of field I shot at f/11 and because even in bright sunlight there wasn't enough light to keep the shutter speed up I shot in manual mode at 1/250th of a second with Auto ISO turned on. All the shots I got have a modest boost in ISO. I was happy with these settings. In fact, I'm so enjoying shooting with this combination that I've been using for the past week...
Some impressions from the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library & Museums. D700 w/28 f2.8AIS, 55 f2.8 AIS, or 135 f3.5Q. (apologies, EXIF may be incorrect in some instances, and the grey skies are what they are in Ohio :-( ).
