Back from a 10 day cruise
and was still on Island time on the way home
Phone rings mom fell and in hospital
headed back to Kentucky
but wait!!!
Got home my wife tries to do laundry to get me going
Next thing shower and bathtub full of brown water had to wait a day and half for septic company
Wife using bucket in garage but I have the whole yard
No time to look at my photos
So welcome back to the real world!!!

Pffff... some home coming. Hope you had a good cruise.
Hope your mother get well soon.
I used it the whole time mostly with AF
Still don't trust myself completely with focus peaking
the last 2 days on the ship I used the XT2
I love that camera and don't plan on getting rid of it
I believe if I had to choose one of them it would be the XT2
I love how small the lens are and the ergonomics of it
Photos to come later

Reagan, I hope your Mom will be alright .
For the rest , s...t happens. I'm not quite sure why it always happens when one is away!
We have had a freezer full of food go off while away for a daughter's wedding and the other day came back to a foul smell from one of the drains.
Hope you're soon back to having your camera choices as your biggest issue!
OH man, sorry about the luck of the plumbing, hoping your mom is doing ok after her fall.

I'm about to embark on a personal challenge for my everyday shooting. I am going to use my little Fuji XE1 and one of my Nikon 50mm's (Probably the Series E 50/1.8.). To give some versatility, I have two adapters; one with no glass and the other a Lens Turbo II. I'm calling it my $200 challenge. Camera, lens, adapters, and SD card all cost under $200 together. Some other aspects of my challenge...
1. In camera JPG's.
2. B/W preferred.
3. Post minimum one picture a day.
That is a really nice challenge. I used to own a Sony mirrorless camera for a few weeks, and I really liked the 50mm f1,4 Nikkor-S.C on that. Used it with an adapter without glass, and it was great.
