Been lurking for a while (again). Been busy, busy mostly and changing job takes a lot of hard work and energy. Hopefully I´ll be able to participate some more now though. Great work everyone, love what I´m seeing I´ve also had some gear issues on my mf-lenses.
Problem no 1 (probably easy to fix), I accidently dropped my Nikkor-H.C 85m f/1.8 in the sand when I was out on a little fishing trip. Now I really dont wanna turn the focus ring cause I´m afraid it will be transported further into the lens. Perhaps someone here knows a link or sitting on some good info on how to dismount the focus ring?
Problem no 2, cant find my much loved 50-135 f/3.5...
Dont think someone here can help me out with that issue though, I´ll just have to figure out where I put it
Also, anyone who´s got a tip on where to go after the 1000 shots maximum limit on flickr?

Bummer Kristian.
Normally Richard Haw’s website is a good one, but I couldn’t find the 85/1.8 H.C on it.
I´ve looked there. I just took a little sneak peak on how he worked with the 105/2.5 P.C and it looked way too difficult. I have a tendency of making things way worse when I try to fix it myself. But perhaps this issue is easily fixed..

I know the feeling. I once tried to lubricate my NKJ 24/2.8 N. It took my lens-friend over 2 hours to correct everything. No more lens fixing for me.
I am klutzy enough with tools that I leave fixing lenses to professionals. The *only* successful work I have done is change the mount on three Leitz lenses from the Leica R-mount to Nikon. Not sure how I got those right.
I've just picked up, locally, this MINT 15mm f/3.5 AI-S with all original accessories for USD 600:
can't wait to mount it on my D850 tomorrow for some architecture images...
I need to lubricate my 85/1.8 H and, like Chris, could not find anything on Richard's website.
I never got round to doing it so cannot even comment on the challenge.

Thanks for the link Colin. Now I'm pretty sure I shouldn't open it myself, although its tempting... 😂 I'll leave mine to the shop here in Malmö instead. They are a bit expensive but probably cheaper than to buy another one.
I have slowed down since I wait a couple weeks for film to be developed. Patience is a virtue, even in 2019 I guess I should look into developing film myself.

It’s not hard... Hardest part is getting film on reels. Have to practice a bit with an exposed roll. After that, it’s a good timer and temperature control.
