It's going to cost a fortune to keep them in Strads!!!
It was interesting as they were in one of the main corridors of a building in Balboa playing beautifully with the hat out. I could tell they were special but the $5 I put in the hat will not go far for the strads.

Great samples Rafael. Notice you are using Capture NX-D. If you are a Lightroom user you know that Z6 raw is not supported yet. But Adobe does support the Z6 in the Adobe DNG Converter 11.1 Beta release. Convert to DNG then take to Lightroom/Photoshop. Also ON1 Photo Raw 2018 supports the Z6 Raw files already.

I take photographs and develop them. For this purpose Capture NXD does everything I want. Do not need any other software.

First post in this great and very busy thread! Shot with my newly acquired mint 50/1.2 AIS at f/2. I intend to only shoot this lens and my 50/1.8G Df kit lens on my Df and F3 in 2018.
Just found this quote of mine from the first of 2018. Boy, did I UTTERLY FAIL at this goal ! I thought writing it out in public would keep me accountable, but I apparently have zero shame.
Laura, good luck with the surgery! Hope you have a speedy recovery.

My last goal each new year is to NOT keep my other goals. That way I keep one
Well it is that time of the year again. The cursing of the Christmas lights
My wife texted my son at college and said "your dad is up in the attic talking to the light up reindeer again"
Well, 76 bulb replacements later and they are all working. It got too dark to put them out in the yard today, but they did make it to the staging area in the den. It will be a task for later tomorrow.
A quick shot below... Nikkor Non-Ai 5cm f/2 Tick Mark lens on the Z6. Shhhh, don't tell Nikon. According to them, those lenses don't work on Z cameras.
Photo is JPG right out of the camera. Resized only in Preview on the Mac. Handheld 1/10th sec shutter.

How do you like the Z6 compared to your Leica?
Regarding image rendering it is too soon to tell. Apples and oranges really. Two completely different shooting styles and if you like the mechanical rangefinder experience, nothing will replace that. Of course the Z6 will win the low light, image stabilization, focusing game. Using the smaller rangefinders lenses on the Z will probably be fine once the M to Z adapters start shipping, but to be honest and I have said it before, they will not win any beauty contests on the Z cameras.
In my sole opinion, the Z is nothing to look at, but it is amazing to shoot and has so many ways to customize the functions to match a shooters needs. It will take me a while of dedicated shooting to unlock all possibilities. From a handling standpoint, I think it will be best matched with the small and light manual focus primes. i.e. 20/3.5, 35/2, 50/2, 105/2.5, 200/4 etc. No doubt the Z will be my go to hiking "go light" system.
Having said that, performance wise it is exceptional with the NOCT, and larger fast primes (85/1.4, 105/1.8, 135/2, etc). This is where the bulk size of the FTZ adapter actually comes in handy. Since the body is so small the FTZ makes handling the larger primes easier. I was using the 400/5.6 non-IF on it handheld shooting squirrels during lunch today. Just messing around with focus peaking. I was getting consistent sharp shots @ shutter speeds of 1/100 and not bad @ 1/50 sec! I have not tried it yet with the 200/2 but the in body image stabilization makes using these manual focus lenses a game changer.
I also got the Z6 for the video capability. It will probably replace my old Panasonic pro video camera for video projects. That will take a couple months to decide. I have a few Christmas program projects to shoot and I will not risk using it in production with little experience with it, but will have it set up for some B roll stuff.
I am going to have a lot of free time the last half of December and plan on putting it through its paces.

I have the same lens starting with serial # 525.... Will I be able to mount the lens on the Z with the adapter. Please let me know what serial # of your lens. Thanks a lot.

Mine is 522... and it fits. All my non-Ai lenses fit. But standard disclaimer, your mileage may vary

Well, I really want a Z6 now... How do I sell everything fast to get one?

Feeling the same ATM Kevin, decided to scratch the ML itch by trying an X-T1 again along with my D800 in India while I wait for used prices to come down.
Here's one from the last time I had one, pretty sure I didn't post it here as the Nikon lens on Nikon body rule was still in place at the time.
