Much respect to the efforts you went to whilst getting back to nature.
I can almost smell the trees and taste water from your images! (I hope that makes sense)
Thank you so much Colin. I assure you, I understand. I still feel those sensations. This was THE trip. It was really into the wild. We canoe through many lakes, some of them were crystal clear, ice cold and clean and tasted great, with no need for purification. A couple of the shallow lakes were not that good to drink, which we could feel in our bellys lol

Thanks George! Yup, it does. It also gives the urge to start planning next trip. Sitting right now looking on various sites for some new outdoor gear
Same here Looking at how to get a Pelican case or similar in the kayak for easy access for my 200-500mm. Used a dry bag this trip, but while keeping it out of the elements to was slow getting in and out. I need something that has a lid, but secure.

It´s a tricky one. I had my camera in a drybag in the canoe as well. It is a bit slow. I guess getting something with a lid involves extra weight....Let me know if you find something suitable

Agree weight would be a concern in a trip like you just made where you have to portage your gear from water to water. Most of my trips are either day trips, or when overnight we do not have to portage over land.
Laura, glad you got a break to get the Celtic fest.
Jay, nice scene!
Jose, Colosseum looks magnificent.
Kristian, wonderful scenes with both the zooms!
George, enjoyed your Outer Banks scenes, always like that lighthouse which has an interesting memory for me from a few years ago. I was up at the top looking out at clouds from an approaching hurricane, which then ended up causing an evacuation, and quick exit the next morning.
And it was good to see Georg stop by on one of the previous pages.
Took these with the Fuji S5 Pro and the 105/2.5 AIs, SIC. This very late serial 105 was bear to find in pristine condition. However, the hunt is part of the fun of having these great lenses.
Thanks everyone for the likes! Very much appreciate the encouragement.
Had to run a block to get this shot, before the boat crossed Lady Liberty.
