Great shots as usual Raphael but tell me - do you head out with just one lens and if so do you chose one you have not used in a while?

Colin,
As you know I have lots of lenses, but photography being a hobby I enjoy it most by doing what you said. Pick single focal length lens I have not used in a while and go compose.
Old car, new photos-I do all the work on this car-way more over the years than I can say, just finished replacing radiator frame, radiator, all power steering components. It came off dry dock in great shape, drives like a dream, no leaks.
Sorry if I am monopolizing the thread lately, but if you are true diehard Nikkor MF fans you must like this one.
(The 7.5mm may not qualify for the thread as it is no focus, but the 105 micro is MF focus )
First this lens can be used on the D800. D810 no trouble, this long post starts with sample from it and the 8mm for comparison. I will probably skip the D850 and get the Nikon Mirrorless.
It was great to finally meet Curtis in person. Couldn't ask for a nicer guy, but he does have that devilish side that leads us into MF Nikkor temptation from time to time.
Three shots, all with 25-50/4 AI-s on Df.
1st: from same spot as Curtis' shot.
2nd: in San Anselmo,
3rd: the devil himself in a serious conversation with David. The 25-50/4 is not the ideal portrait lens, but it's what was on the camera at the time. Wide open is does OK.

Recently acquired 55mm 1.2. Did not even realize it was a John White conversion (seller did not photograph printed aperture portion) until it arrived. Has only the very slightest haze when viewing with flashlight, but otherwise exceptional copy. May keep...may sell....will definitely post pics taken at f/1.2 soon
