Sorry you guys have to pick up the slack. I haven't had time to hardly do anything except to shoot at the market. Here's some from today with the 50-135mm.

Ken,
Never get enough of Lake McDonald! (I and I live here.) Well seen.
Even Reagan could tolerate it here this time of the year.......
Snowplows are currently working to open Going To The Sun Road and are battling a snowpack 137% of the yearly average!

Beautiful spot. I have more to post too! I heard the Going to Sun Road usually opens on the 4th of July. Where do you live?
My wife Diane finally let her 14 year old Volvo take a rest
We traded it in on her new sports car and took a ride
along with my new D750
It was 90 degrees and the light was pretty harsh but the ocean was calm enough
even for the jet skis to go out

I live in Missoula Ken. Wish I had known you were in the area. Would have loved getting together with you and sharing a couple of Moose Drools. Leighton gave them his stamp of approval.
Colin, superb IR landscpes.
Did you use a red filter for those dark skies?
BTW the 16/3.5 and particularly the 24/2.8 NC are two of te best Nikkors for IR: almost no hotspot in the former and no HP in the latter according to my tests in an IR modfied D600 (720nm).
Two captures from my last field trip:
Ladybird beetle sucking Bromelia fruit exudate
D7200 + Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/4 ai-s (set at MFD focus) + close up 4T lens, built in flash, hand held; ISO 1600, f/11 at 1/320s. 50% cropped (12/24MP).2 images focus stacked.
Same combo and set up, except the lens was set at infinity focus and aperture at f/16. 17% cropped (4/24MP). This was also a 2 focus stacked composite image.
Thanks for the comment.
I did not use a red filter. I have always meant to compare shots with/without the in-built red filter in the 16/3.5 but suspect it wouldn't add anything given the cut-off wavelength of the camera's IR filter (720nm) will be higher than visible red. Worth an experiment though.
Yes, I concur that the 16/3..5 and 24/2.8 NC are stellar IR performers. I rate the 85/1.8 H in that category too with the 50/2 H not far behind.
The really dark skies are courtesy of a few tweaks in LR.
Since this is off topic I'll send you a PM with the LR recipe

This is a very nice looking page so far. Charles, that young redhead has a really striking appearance, and the shot with the cat is composed beautifully! Great demonstration of the 50 f/1.2's capabilities!
Here are a couple of shots of the creek at Rosewall park. The first is courtesy of the 24 f/2 Ai-s, and the second is from the 85 f/1.4 Ai-s.

Jack, Shucks …. I believe I drove thru Missoula! We ate lunch in Hamilton and stayed in Seeley Lake. Beautiful area! Lot's of deer on the road which made for slow going!

Yes, Missoula is just about half way between Hamilton and Seeley Lake and deer sure are a hazard here.
Had one attack my Jeep Grand Cherokee (came up out of ditch just at dusk and never saw it until it was on my bumper), nearly destroyed the front end and ran off apparently uninjured!
On my next trip to Jacksonville/Ormond Beadh to see family will give you and Regan a heads-up and perhaps we can meet up somewhere convenient to all.
