Thanks for sharing this Rafael. I was for some reason on google maps a few days ago and nerded myself into this particular spot with the fence and all. I could only see it from above of course but I was wondering how it looked from where you were. A very popular spot on the mexican side but not so much on the US?

Samy, loving the 5cm 1.4 LTM and the idea of it.
Double, you hav me seeing double color and rendition. Is the vignetting on the 20 3.5 ais as taken?
Ronny, your landscapes are the most pro in this thread. The 16mm 3.5 King!!! Here is your crown.
Joseph, that reflection, that expression, that motorcycle, did you stage this and took 100 samples?
The Leighton lens speaks!
Very evocative Boat going towards the sunset Reagan.
Beautiful blossoms Phong, what are they of?
River B&W is beautiful, oughtt to wet more than the feet George.
Charles, good luck finding a 50 1.2, Leighton, Samy and Reagan show what it is for!
By Jupiter John! never thought we could capture that, a use for my 800mm!
Scott, great river yourself!
We have all been to the southeastmost point in the USA in Key west. The Southwestmost point in the USA, the separation between alta and baja California is not as touristy but arguably much more significant.
A heading for each [photo, 135mm 2.0.
On weekends you can meet regardless of nationality.

Kristian: It is the local geography, Tijuana developed next to he border, where business is for them. Playas de tijuana is the best beach for many miles, easily accessible from the hillside behind it.
On the US side the beach is equally beautiful but it is in front of the estuary of the Tijuana river, which makes access difficult and also brings a lot of contamination when it rains, plus San Diego has the silver strand, Coronado and other beautiful beaches not far away.
Here is Coronado with the 800mm 5.6 from miles away.

I am now interested in a lot more in Nikon fast glass particularly with the D850. I am finding that the ability to focus is very easy just like a RF. Maybe the improved OVF and with f/1.2 there is a steep fall off and makes it a lot easier. The R 50 Cron is not as easy but the focus dot confirmation is very accurate.

I am interested in others experiences here
Charles. In my limited time with the D850 I am finding the same thing. I almost sold off my fast primes last year. I am really glad I didn't. Finding it very easy to focus the 85/1.4, 105/1.8 and 135/2. In my opinion it is better than the Df which I have used with MF glass since that body was released.

And yes, the D850 focuses the NOCT very well
George
Hi George, this is a game changer with respect to the D850 with Nikon MF fast lenses. This was the reason alone to have an A7III alongside for MF lenses, but I am enjoying the RF like focusing experience. It takes a little practice no different than the M9/M240. I am finding a marginal roll in focus will nail the mid point very quickly and you always have the focus confirmation dot on the side if you need it. Interesting as I never expected this! This is a reason alone to now search for a NOCT
If someone has a 58 f/1.2 Noct please do PM me. I don't care about the body if it has scratches just so long as the glass and mechanically the lens is in excellent condition. I use fast lenses on the streets in Asia and I just love the different feel and look. Now that I discovered MF via the OVF with f/1.2 lenses on the D850 is fast and accurate I have no immediate need for a A7III
