Liing the cactus series, Jay.
Scott, wonderful symmetry on the "Palace" shot, looks like you picked a good time of day to balance out the lighting as well.
Love the shiny Maui Cobras, Rafael. Excellent shine, masterful p&p and original shot!
Colin, beautiful effect with the ND at Wee Cauldron!
Samy, the dew drop capture is absolutely sparkling!
doubleuely, nice moving shot in Kerry County. Good overall lighting mood to the shot too.

Recipe is one 35 1.4 N with Thorium color and contrast enhancement, one circular polarizer, one Maui Made Cobra 427, and California sun.
Rafael, the car looks very nice and the images are very tastefully done, but the lens photo is the one I find most attractive!
Here are a couple of tree-with-old-man's-beard-lichen shots from Englishman River Falls. The first one was taken with the 135 f/2 Ai-s, and the second is courtesy of the 55 f/1.2 SC.
Don't think poorly of my lack of interaction with the members of the thread, my life is somewhat out of control and I do not get enough time to enjoy my pastimes.
Still take photos when I can. Do love the cars, but given the responses I might as well do a new series of well lit and composed Nikon MF gear.
Take your pick. The MF gear photo is old, can do better.

I prefer your car shots. Only because I want to see what the lenses will do, I don’t really care their condition. I try and fail to get that nice and shiny look to cars...you do it very well.
Hey folks. Hot humid summer has begun here the last week but hoping for lower humidity next week.
Since today was International Trails Day, I spent the morning at a nearby State Park with a group of friends. Decided to go with black and white in the camera today.
Some snaps below of the gang and a couple shots on the river.
Can't keep a bunch of old "kids" from playing in the water
All shot with the Leica Thread Mount Nikkor 3.5cm f/2.5
A few days ago momma cat started teaching the kitties how to hunt. As they sat on my deck a squirrel came and performed some acrobatics to get bird seed out of the feeder. She sat behind the fluffy black kitten and talked in coos and low meows. He ran to the base of the tree, and watched the squirrel. The squirrel - overcome by his cuteness - descended the tree for a closer look. Then ran back to the feeder. The next day that black kitten was climbing up and down trees like a champ. Since this all happened by sheer luck...I grabbed the nearest camera and shot before I lost the moment. All with the 85mm f1.4 ais wide open.
