Ouch .... someone's prize possession had a bad day!
BUT! Speaking of Vettes we are in North West Montana, left Glacier yesterday. So far 3600 miles on the Vette. Heading back via the UP of Michigan then home. Super photos at Glacier yet to be processed!
Have not been able to go out on a real session for a while. But I really gotta get out and do some serious work soon.
However, in the shot below is what I´ve been up to lately.
We wanted to grow some chilis in a bit larger volume this year, so we built a little grow house on the countryside. Here we are, dirty and sweaty after a whole day of hard work building the green house.
From left is my good friend Juan, the men in the middle and Johnny an old friend to the right. Hot oNes by Kristian Hagelin, on Flickr

I could use all of you for the Summer, room and board included.D
You got it Leighton! I´m sure it would be a lot of fun (a LOT of work too). All we need is champagne for breakfast every morning and a couple of cold beers in the evening

Jeff, Those Nikonos images look great. I found a mint one in a thrift store with the same lens, but sold it on the bay. For other reasons; I didn't think I would be using it...ever.

I'm finally getting around to digitizing some old film shots.
These were taken, many moons ago, when Patty and I took an underwater photo class with Cathy Church. The camera was a loaner Nikonos V, and I think the lens was the 35/2.5. The film was Fuji Velvia RVP.
Cathy was a terrific teacher and I wanted to do more underwater photography. But we learned that there is a strong inverse relationship between having kids and taking dive trips.
Chuong, thats one great image of a rose-breasted grosbeak.

Took a proper shot with a tripod today with my 800mm 5.6 AIS. Mounted a tc-14b on it and this is what I got. Not bad. It's actually more stable than the 600mm f5.6 AIS for whatever reason. I felt like it has more focus control somehow... even with the TC.
