James, I sense an adoption or two coming up for you

There is very little color around here, but one of the feral cats I feed had a litter. She had two very healthy looking kittens. Like powder puffs with legs. Though the mother trusts me, and has let me hold one of the kittens - every sound sends the whole family scampering for safety. I shot all these through the glass of a slider. 300mm f2.8 ais on the first one, and 135mm f2.0 ai on the rest.

Yeah, we have quite a few of those in southern Sweden. I think they are quite common in Denmark too.

Do they generate power these days Joke aside, I do recall seeing them in Scandinavia long ago when I was there. Also the modern windmil generators were already everywhere 20 years ago. US is so behind, hope to see more built..

Most of the old mills are more like cultural stamps in the landscape. But we do have a lot of modern windmills. It's definitely a growing thing up here in Scandinavia. I'll see if I can take a few shots of those when spring is in full bloom.
Kingsday in Holland.
All kinds of festivities and garage sales in the streets. Verrryyy busy.
We went to the Vondelpark where the garage sale is mostly for children with all kinds of preforming and games.

We still have a few in Holland that are used daily for dry milling a polder.
Hey everyone! Thank you for the condolences, well wishes and prayers I and my family appreciate it. This is truly one very happy community we share.
I really miss the get together with Colin and Reagan who visited " MY" half of the state. I am glad the weather and the beer treated them well.
Here are shots taken a week ago after what some say was the largest April storm ever to hit the mid west. These are from my father is laws property and taken on a 71F (23c) day.
Hope that you will allow me this diversion - Nikkor 50mm 1.2 AIS @ 1.2 on Leica M240, just because I thought I'd get a Nikon - Leica M adapter instead of a new 'toy' lens like a 7Artisans 50mm 1.1....

Again many thanks to all.
Ken., seems you forgot how to rotate the aperture ring on that Noct 58mm. ., keep rotating from time to time to avoid it being stuck at f1.2.
