Here are a couple more heron shots to add to Colin's seabird theme. These were taken with a different 200 f/4 (Q rather than Ai-s) on my Fuji X-T2. This heron definitely had no illusions about me being a fisherman, nor anything else s/he might want to allow to come close!
There is very little color around here, but one of the feral cats I feed had a litter. She had two very healthy looking kittens. Like powder puffs with legs. Though the mother trusts me, and has let me hold one of the kittens - every sound sends the whole family scampering for safety. I shot all these through the glass of a slider. 300mm f2.8 ais on the first one, and 135mm f2.0 ai on the rest.
Nowhere as impressive as Sar's Kite composition.
Nevertheless here is a triptych of a pelican seeking its supper.
The D610's meagre frame rate is clear to see.
Another old building in Waterville, OH, though I can't seem to find out much about it online. Now serves as the local bar. Nothing too exciting in the picture, mostly just the detailing at the top of the building.
