Really nice one George.
Where you lying on the ground?
Thanks Chris. No not lying on the ground. I was standing pointing the camera straight up. Trying to get all the trees converging in the center and keeping them straight. Was still able to get the horizon all around. Sun rising to the right of the image and illuminating the trees on the extreme left of the image. So looking at the image is like a flipped compass. While the right and left sides are correct (east and west) the bottom is north and the top is south (approximately)

I'm glad I bought the 180/f2.8 ED last year - it keeps me from lusting too much after a 200/f2 or 105/f1.4, both AF lenses I really want but cannot justify owning.
Two are from Cars and Coffee in 2017. The first is what looks like a Ford F150 predecessor. My knowledge about old pickup trucks is rather limited, so I can't really tell you much about it.

Won't be long before you can join the Gray Beard Club!
Every time I look in the mirror, which happens about once a week, there seem to be more white hairs. Kristina already stopped pulling them out. Not sure what has me more worried. She pulling at my beard, or that she stopped it with the words " won't be much left if I pull all the white ones out "

He Buddy, what is that funny stuff below your chin.
Chris, funniest thing. I woke up one day and it was there. Decided to leave it for a bit. Kristina says it makes me look friendlier (then I really am)
It's been quite a while since I've posted here as I'm in the process of selling a bunch of my less-used lenses, but I was testing my 55mm f3.5 Micro to see how it resolves on the D850. So if you're interested in seeing the output of a ~$50 lens on a $3300 body, here you go.

That last comment about the beard making you look friendlier made me laugh. I went to an actual barber shop a couple weeks ago and the lady there said that same thing. My wife said early on in our relationship (after having to go clean shaven for a while, chemical burn), “Don’t shave the beard, if you have to, leave a goatee...You look really mean without it.”
After a few nights of frost advisories, I think spring may be here for good. Fingers crossed.
Posting a few of spring new growth below from this afternoon. Shot with the Nikkor-P·C 10.5cm f/2.5 LTM for some rangefinder bokeh. Something about a camera with a manual rangefinder optical interface. Film or digital

Here are a few monochromes from Death Valley National Park, taken with the Nikkor 28/2.8.
The first shows a woman taking a solitary walk in Badwater Basin, the lowest point in North America; 282 ft (86 m) below sea level. The snow-capped mountain is Telescope Peak. It's the highest point in the park, with an elevation of 11,331 feet (3,454 m).
The second and third shots are from the Mesquite Flat sand dunes, taken just after sunrise.

That's really beautiful Rafael. I googled Lake Coatepeque out of curiosity, which is a common occurrence for me in this thread. You guys really bring me places...!
