I do not know if this was told before here... Please apologise me if I'm the „n” person to speak about the same thing... DxO is offering for free its great piece of software DxO OpticsPro 9. Of course, it is not their latest and greatest package, but having some free time today I downloaded it and I was very pleased to see how good is it and also how easy is to work with. One can download later modules / profiles for almost each Nikon camera, up to D810 (no Df and D750 for this version) and for many lenses (unfortunately not for the beloved MF Nikkors). But this does not mean that you can not PP your files.I found DxO to be very intuitive and simple. If in future I'll have more time for PP I may consider to purchase the latest version. I didn't tried the noise reducing module... but I've heard opinions that it is very powerful...
Here you can get your copy: DxO
So much goodies to look at :-) Great work everyone! I´ve not been very able to get out with my ger very much. My left tumb is still recovering and I have about 6 weeks left before I am allowed to fully use it again. Such a long healing time, quite frustrating. I had a meeting with the occupational therapist last week and she said that I could start using my hand just a little now. What could be better training than to manually focus on a nikkor lens??
So, today we celebrate the springs arrival. Big fires are being lit all over today. We went to a little viking village today. They had a little show and lit the fire and celebrated
Here´s a few impressions from today. All shot with the Leighton lens.

Wonderful work being posted on this thread, but what inspires me most is seeing so many of our long-time friends showing up to share work and join in the conversation. There is no doubt in my mind that it is within community that we find our greatest pleasure and most meaningful engagement. Shooting photos can be a very solitary activity. Few of us are blessed with partners who share our enthusiasm for this pastime... I nod my head to Buddy... but for the rest of us, finding kindred spirits is a source of joy. This particular group not only loves to take photos, but also enjoys utilizing these beautifully crafted lenses. Amazing the pleasure to be found in turning a focusing ring... Yes, these lenses are beautiful to behold AND a pleasure to shoot with. I do believe we have a good thing going here.
Thanks Mihai, first I heard of that offer, so I'm off to redeem it

If you are on Mac or Linux, give Darktable a try. Very similar to Lightroom and has lens correction for many old MF Nikon lenses. Only reason I don't use it more, I get CC free from work.
New here but I have a couple old Nikon's in my modest collection. Here's a few I took last weekend with the Series E 75-150:

Welcome Brian (?)
I see you are using Flickr to host your pcitures. Unfortunately those URLs don't display the image without clicking and opening it up in a new window. I see from your Flikr that your sharing option only shows one option. I use Flickr too (as do many others here) but I have a BBCode option in the sharing tab. That's the one you want to use.
Not sure why yours is different but it might be something to do with your privacy settings not being public on the images you wish to share with us.
My latest macro shots for anyone interested. From Chillagoe camp during the day while waiting for nightfall for astro stuff. A couple of bugs I've not seen before like a Lantern fly and another Derbid planthopper.
I almost posted them here out of habit until I remembered I'm not using a mf nikkor anymore for macro (Sigma 105 OS) ! In my defence, the siggy does 1:1 out of the box, is really light, sharp and the OS really helps.
Welcome back Ram
Welcome Brian?
I love the effect of the heat haze on the shot of the people next to the fire Kristian, very painterly.

Indeed I am blessed with a beautiful wife, who has even more of a passion for photography then I do. Most of the time, that is indeed a blessing. I mean, how often does your significant other tell you to take your time for that picture?
It isn't always a blessing though. Kristina and I often enough have a bit of a competitive spirit when it comes to getting "the shot" or getting the most out of the light/scene/moment. And until recently we squabbled about who gets to use the 85mm f1,4 lens for a particular scene more then once. All of that in good spirit however
Kristina bought herself the new Sigma Art 135mm f1,8 and I think she likes what that lens can do. She's getting used to it at least, so that is one conflict belonging to the past
I'm liking what the 80-200 f4 Ai-S gives me more and more. Recently picked up a HN-23 hood to use with it, and right in time as it appears because sunny days are ahead of us
Did I mention that I love my better half? If we did not have Anouk, I would even say more then anything in the world, but now that spot is taken by 2 human beings
Today we left Anouk with her grandparents. We used the time wisely to go out and play with the new toys
