Welcome Brian (?)
I see you are using Flickr to host your pcitures. Unfortunately those URLs don't display the image without clicking and opening it up in a new window. I see from your Flikr that your sharing option only shows one option. I use Flickr too (as do many others here) but I have a BBCode option in the sharing tab. That's the one you want to use.
Not sure why yours is different but it might be something to do with your privacy settings not being public on the images you wish to share with us.
I had a moment there, too. However, I have a Rokinon 14/2.8 that I rarely ever use, so it was easy to talk myself out of it. The price also helped bolster my resistance.

Sorry, Colin, I had meant to delete the post as I saw the issue myself, it must not have gone through. I'll edit the post and fix it with your recommendations. Thank you for the help.
Walked again on the 28th, but didn't image these until today. All are with the 105mm f1.8 ais, and most had a 20mm extension tube as well. Somehow, I shot 181 images in a about a mile walk. (I'll post them in two groups)
Hey folks, still not ready to come back to the mothership, lol, hope to start shooting again. I am going to part with two very rare treasures, the Mystery Lens, aka the 200-400 Ais, and my NOCT.. before I put them into the main stream, please PM me if you have interest... both will go for fair prices as they are both in great condition. Hope to make pictures of them tomorrow.
Impulse purchase today - 28mm f/2.0 AI on the Buy and Sell. Very clean and for under $200 shipped I couldn't resist. Plenty of rave reviews of this lens, so probably a keeper.
I thought that I had worked my way round a couple of Whisky Distilleries quite well.
And obviously been spanked in the wallet region for their products !
Stayed at my sisters new location in Carbost (she moved just about 10 days ago from Cumbria)
Went into her lounge and was confronted with the Whisky cabinet, with a couple of bottles of brandy too .... well Whisky is the water of life !!
Shot with the 28mm f2.8 on D810 with on-board flash
Then went for the walk down the hill to eat at the local pub ... and on a few more yards to Talisker !!
The view back shows her house (bungalow) highlighted in the elipse ....
How close do you need to be to the distillery ??
The views over Loch Harport are gorgeous and the sunsets they will get along with the view of the Northern Lights mean I will be visiting again ...... many times !!
And just for Colin .... the view from Armadale Ferry Point before boarding the ferry back!!
Steve
Stokesey 2017
Water of Life cabinet .... open in emergency ..... they happen every day !!
Stokesey 2017
Keeping a healthy distance from the evil drink !!
Stokesey 2017
The view from Armadale Ferry point back to Mallaig !!

Got screwed with my film dev stuff. Think its a sign...
uh oh... sorry to hear that. It's not like anything film these days is inexpensive.
I was going to shoot some of my old frozen slide film now that I fixed my EOS-1n and have a Nikon adapter for it, but I have far too many new toys to play with right now that the film fun will have to wait.
