I would love to do that.

It is 8:30 a.m. and you nailed it... I'm tired from a long day with Chin. As has been evident on this thread when he has shared photos and joined the conversation, our friend has an active mind and the banter through the day was far reaching and always interesting. We left it last night that he'll call me when he feels rested. At the moment I'm sipping Singapore breakfast tea he generously brought as a gift. Since his flight leaves after midnight and I intend to drive him to the airport, this will be another long day. I think

Well the Groundhog was right this year. Snowing most of the day here. So posting a few shots from my trip down east last week.

These are from Morehead City, NC

We had about a 20 min wait for our table at the restaurant so we walked along the waterfront while we waited. All these with the 3.5cm f/2.5 LTM rangefinder lens.

If you are ever in that area, I highly recommend the Ruddy Duck Tavern.

Today Chin and I traveled up the Headlands road to see if we could capture a photo of San Francisco above the Golden Gate Bridge before the rain started. This is a panorama I created from a series of photos taken with the 105 f/2.5 P AI.

And I grabbed this shot of Chin who took the whole thing much more seriously... setting up his tripod before shooting.

Chin eventually got caught in the rain, but that was later when he wanted to visit a lighthouse near the entrance of the Golden Gate. I sat comfortably in the car waiting for him to return. We both got caught in rain an hour later but both survived. At the moment he is packing for the return trip home, while I play with images from our two days together. It was great getting to meet him. I agree with Leighton, it would be a delight if we could get together, whether at the farm or elsewhere. The logistics of that, however, seem daunting. But I'll never say "never..."

I played with it a bit when we were having breakfast this morning, but I'm not certain there will be a photo of me holding a Fuji camera. Yes, it is a sweet little camera, but then I could say the same thing about the slightly larger Df that is a FULL FRAME camera that doesn't require an adapter to shoot manual focus Nikon glass... my favorite.

Suddenly this thread seems to be teetering on the edge of NSFW!

How are you liking your X-T2, Chin? I'm loving mine, though I do foresee keeping my D800E around for some applications. For example, I took it out this evening (pics to come at a later date) to try out my new-to-me 24mm PC-E and greatly enjoyed both the lens and the body.

Here are a few distant bird photos I snapped yesterday with the 180 f/2.8 Ai-s with TC-201 on the Fuji. Please excuse the wide variation in processing; I'm learning about On1 Photo RAW by trying out all of its various tools. (Please click on the pics, and sit back a bit from your monitor to view them; these uploaded versions are quite a bit blurrier than the originals, and clicking on them will slightly reduce their size for a less blurry view.)

I went to one of my favorite local coves and I saw these two lobster-men returning from a hard day of work. It was windy and cold. I don't know how they do it. My hands were freezing after 5 minutes and I am sure they were out all day.

I'll add one more taken from Marin Headlands, this a simple shot taken with the 24 f/2.8 N.C. AI and then converted with Silver Efex Pro 2.

Have not been able to shoot anything lately, I´ve had a bad cold. Some great stuff have been happening here on the thread though. Curtis and Chin, really cool you guys came together. Looking forward to see some more of your days together!

If anyone here on the thread are going go to Sweden or Denmark, let me know so we can link up.

Leighton, that reunion you talk about on your farm sounds just great. It would be so cool to hang out with some of you.

Colin, that landscape shot from Scotland is great. Anna and I have been talking a lot about going to the highlands sometime in the future. It´s on the priority list!

Glen, nice forest shots.

Luka, you´ve also found a piece of nice forest. It looks very much like the type of forests I hike in.

George, nice sunset shots with that old 3.5 cm.

Ram, nice shots from the river. Lately all the snow have been raining off so I guess the rivers here are running high.

Raul, really nice shot of those fishermen.

Here´s a shot I took a while ago while hiking in the forests.
