Some infrared images from today’s Moon-Walk training session. 4 hour trek though the North Hampshire country side with the D7100 IR & 24mm NC 2.8
Speeding cyclists are more of an issue than cars on these pretty, well manicured, country lanes. We can hear cars coming but cyclists are more of a concern since they travel pretty quickly on the steeper twisty downhill sections. So common sense prevails at all times on these single track ‘B’ roads.
Shot of the Taj Mahal at night. Ignore the camera setting as it was very difficult to change lenses in pitch darkness. I think it was the 20mm UD lens.
While we're on the subjects of PC lenses and 55mm micro lenses and recent acquisitions, I figure now is a good time to bring all three subjects together with the "family" photos I promised a couple of weeks ago. The new-to-me PC-E 24 f/3.5 has since arrived, as has a pristine new-to-me 35 f/3.5 PC. The 35 can only be mounted on my Fuji adapter, and the 24 only has full functionality on my Nikon bodies, so I now have a dedicated PC lens for each body type, along with the body-agnostic 28 f/3.5 PC. These are the "family" shown in the first image below. The second image shows the "family" of MFNG I have picked up since September, including: PC-E 24 f/3.5, 35 f/3.5 PC, 2.8 f/3.5, 5.8 f/1.4, and 55 f/3.5 micro. Both photos were shot with the 28-50 f/3.5 Ai-s on the D7000 body. I can attest that Kit Building is Forever!
Here is something you might find interesting. They are all shot with the D500 and the 35-200 F 3.5. I haven't had an opportunity to use the macro.
From the banks of the Weeki Waachi River although no river shots here A dog, a heavily cropped buzzard and an oak tree that was taken with you in mind because of the shot you posted a week or so ago.
[shamelessplug] If anyone is looking for Nikon 16mm 3.5 AI fisheye in near mint condition I just put mine up for sale on the B&S board. Link in the description to pictures. This is the sought after version. [/shamelessplug]
