Really nice pano. It reminds I really need to see California some day.
There is much to see in the United States. It is a BIG country with spectacular regions worth visiting. If you ever make it to San Francisco, which I consider a treasure, please let me know and we can take a ramble.
I'm loving the photos from the Eastman house Scott. The 18 f/3.5 is definitely an appealing lens. Ray used it and now you and Ken are demonstrating its excellence. I simply don't go wide often enough to make the investment, but I love looking at work done by others with this sweet lens. Thanks for these.

That would be great! It wont happen in a couple if years, kids needs to be older and the dineros is also much needed. One thing we've been talking about would be to roatrip all the way from LA to the pacific nw. But, it's really hard to decide where to go cause the US is so big. It will take some carefully planning. Time will tell.
Has anyone used this lens ->Nikon Zoom-NIKKOR AI-S 35-200mm f/3.5-4.5 Ai-S Lens ? older MF zooms of this nature dont have the greatest of names but interested to see if anyone has them.
Please look at my recent Daytona posts. Great versatile lens with the addition of a macro feature which is pretty decent. You should find them for good prices since they are not to popular. Bjorne gives it a good rating with the understanding there are good copies of it and some bad. Mine seems good.
I just took it to the Weeki Waachi river this week and I’ll post some shots. It’s my go to lens for the D500 because it’s essentially a 50-300 mm setup. That with the D500 speed makes it a keeper.

I have one and it is a very good performer. I use it a lot when I go canoeing/kayaking. One lens kit on the Df. Good range and macro feature. David (dhamments) used to post some awesome shots from "Down Under". That is what led me to get one. Very affordable lens.
Thank you guys. I saw one in Fleabay for like $60-$80. At that zoom range its a great lens to have but still thinking whether I need such a range or not.

I am going to post couple of large sized images. Here is a comparison of what the Nikkor 28mm f3.5 PC can do. I have been hooked onto that lens ever since I tried George's copy. Finally great to own this one.
I took a series of shots while rotating the lens shifted to get the maximum coverage for panorama. This gives you an idea of the overlap.
