I plan to feature a fairly common RF Nikkor in a very uncommon mount, in a week or two. Anyone here can feel free to speculate on which mount
After a couple weeks away, I come back and this is the first post I see. You have my curiosity up.
Can you infinity focus with the RF Nikkor lens on this mount?
So many awesome shots shared lately, been hitting the like button very much. I haven´t had the time to go out very much myself. But today a little present from myself arrived to the post office.
The micro-nikkor 55/3.5 ai. It looks almost mint, there´s hardly a scratch on it and it might be one of the best preserved mf-lenses I got. Bought for about 60USD, what a bargain...
Here´s a test-shot from the kitchen table, lit up with the smartphone lamp.
When I zoom in in lightroom it looks just great, so much details..I took one at 3.5 but the light wasnt that good. But Lot´s of details as well
This one shot @5.6 Test Nikon 55/3.5 ai by Kristian Hagelin, on Flickr

Glad rains are helping. I was watching the India vs South Africa - Pink day Cricket match that got affected by the rain on Johannesburg. The next match is at Port Elizabeth.
Did you have to bring that up?? India won far too comfortably
Aha a bit of competition going on here. But South Africa won the Test series, so its even Peter I used to follow AB's batting a lot, he's not as consistent anymore.
George, have to add a clarification to the mystery. The mount itself is not uncommon at all, but the # of Nikkors made for it were few and far between. And yes, infinity focus is not an issue, with the right camera, and no need for Ben-gendering or whatever Ben was calling it before he left for Canon-land.

I will wait to rub it in once we wrap up the T20 series, thereby winning two out of three series in South Africa.

Not Contax, George. Actually several Nikkor focal lengths were made in Contax mount (although the #s would be definitely significantly less than LTM Nikkors). The one I have was only ever made in one focal length for that mystery mount, and in very few #s: <900.
Ram, I was trying to be nice to Peter, especially after today's result
