Not a bad idea. Should be able to get hold of an S3 (or S2) in much better shape than that.

Thanks Guys!
I am going to try a return on it, given how much it would cost to fix, with a return and same money i can get a much better one. Will see what happens!
Picked a pristine condition Zoom Nikkor-C Auto 80-200/4.5 at the flea market this morning for 20 eur.
Complete with caps, filter and case that it originally came in.
I went to go nominate a friend of mine for Best Local DJ, and for grins and giggles, clicked on the adjoining category marked Best Local Photographer, and found my name there twice, once misspelled (Someone added the U) Totally unexpected to see my name listed there
My guess is that this is a nominate daily now, then vote as often as possible on the next round. Thanks for the votes of confidence on the last go around!

Well, they accepted the return and I did something different all together and went with a brand new Bessa R4M and will be able to shoot both my Nikkor S glass with the Amedeo adapter and M glass natively.
When it came down to it, I had a budget and really wanted a camera that was going to be new or almost new and work without hassles.
I really wanted a Nikon S, maybe next year.. maybe go for a Mint Black SP and do it right.
Reagan the B&S is calling out for the 800E .... resist .... BTW nice shots of Jamaica!
Peter I see some shots with the 28-45 which I really like. Maybe not as sharp as the 25-50 but a heck of a lot smaller and at a useful range. Keep em coming!
Mark I recently got a S2 that was CLA'd by the previous owner. Now ALL I have to do is develop the roll I took a month ago. Time really flies!
Jay absolutely terrific. Good phots can be found anywhere if you look, even upside down!
On to the Tampa Car Show to fulfill a request from Samy .... more cars!
This was my second shot at an S, I will likely buy it from a dealer that warranties it as being CLA'd the next time I give it a go.. here are some with the new glass.
#Nikon RF 8.5cm f2.0 Nikkor-P C 'C'
#NK NIKKOR P.C 10.5cm 105mm f/2.5.
#NK Nikkor Q-C 13.5cm f3.5 S mount
I am wowed by all three of these, maybe the 135 a little less so (susceptible to glare) but I really like how these all render on the M.. a lot of these are high ISO shots at 1600 and 3200 ISO due to being indoors in lower light. Also, the cats and coffee are wide open.

These are nice, however, I think at very minimum the glass has to be Nikon branded. The forum thread changed up to allow different cameras using Nikon glass though. Someone who is a long timer can correct me if I am wrong. Sorry to be the messenger on potentially bad news.
WOW Rafael, you are the man! Congrats!
Mine is an externally battered copy, fortunately with good optics.
I suggest you post your images in this group at flickr: https://flic.kr/g/osQsj
Looking forward for your debut shots!
