Going through the pages for the week and came across this. Great memories of the chats here with Ray. Thanks for posting this Reagan.

I forgot to mention my friend Ray's passing on October 19.
He has been gone 3 years now
For those who didn't know him. He was a constant here early on
Both taken with F90x + Nikkor 400mm f/5.6 ED (non-IF) + SB28 (fill flash) + tripod; Fujichrome RDPIII ISO 100 (pushed to 200), February to March 2002, Prata-MG, Brazilian Savannah.
Digital dupes using D610 (mockingbird) or D7200 (woodpecker) @ ISO 100 + PB-6 bellows + Micro-Nikkor 55mm f/2.8 ais @f/5.6 + PS-6 slide copying adapter + SC-17 cable/SB 400 flash behind slide.
Laura, congrats on the new lens. I'm think, perhaps erroneously, that the E series started the use of "good copy" - "bad copy" in describing Nikon lenses. I have several and all are good!
Jose always a happy time for me to see your brilliant work!
Steve, Scotland shots are wonderful and although not as good as being there they are a real joy!
Here are some more from the Great State of Arkansas! Please enjoy!
Thanks again Richard. If it weren’t for your website, I probably never would have gotten up the courage to begin restoring old lenses. Now I’ve restored too many to count, and have built up a nice little collection. Keep up the good work!
I have been neglecting my MF lenses lately, but here are a few from a trip to Colorado this past summer. All were taken using an X-E1 and Nikkor 24mm f/2.8 AI. I processed all of these using Alien Skin Exposure X3. I've been demoing it for the past couple of weeks and I do believe I have found me a new editor.

Nice set Scott. I too have been checking out other apps with the thought of leaving LR. So far, I like Alien Skin Exposure X3 and On1 over all the other ones I've tried. But to be perfectly honest, I still like LR the best and as long as I don't change cameras, will probably be sticking to it.
Stands for Digital Asset Management. In other words, it doesn't have a "library" mode or a folder tree. You have to use it as a LR plug-in or open files individually. If the DAM is as good or better than LR's, it will really be nice.
