Andy - do those donuts have icing and popcorn on top and syrup inside as well?
These are the last of the nikkor 10.5cm f2.5 PC. To my eye it's nowhere near as good as the later legendary 105mm f2.5
(I included more than one of the red door because I know Leighton has a thing for doors)
Been missing out on all the superb pics this week, a bit too hectic.
Here's one with the SP and 10.5cm f4 T S-mount lens. First try with the CineStill 50 film. Not sure if the exposure was off, but the colors aren'r quite appealing.

Second red door shot .... that's why I don't do this type of photography ......
Kristian, glad to hear you are recovering, and good to see sheep and a door with the Leighton lens And kool bokeh-ed selfie!
Brian, nice scenery of the lake in California.
Philippe, love that sparrow about jump off the cliff, you can always capture the exact moment! And the yacht procession's super!
Ray, beautiful fern colors through the fisheye.
Phong, welcome and love the flowers with the 28mm
Dan, just wow, fantastic waterfall pics!!
Oh boy Mark you really went down a few rabbit holes And the next issue of that magazine has an article on the Airesflex Great Kansas scenery with all the recent gear you are acquiring!
Colin, fantastic shot at the Wee Cauldron. And that Rothschild residence in IR is equally superb!
cgrille, very interesting structure across the river.
Ben, quite a lineup of 105 Nikkors. I have not had as much luck with the S-mount RF Nikkor. Interestingly, my shots with the S-mount 105 f4 T seem to be lagging behind what the F-mount 105 F4 T can create, despite being an identical optical formula. Its almost as if Nikon's 105 formula just worked a lot better on the F-mount.
Lestor, very nice pics of the Diwali lamps with the 85 1.4. Agreed with you, Ben's back but where's the banter
Leighton, nice barn there! I have an Ektar 100 roll done with your lens, awaiting shipping off for development
Jay love the rabbit ears motel!
Andy, that foccacia bagel looks scrumptious. Reminded me that its breakfast time here
Steve, always like your Nikon on Nikon and a snail creche with the 500 F4 P is quite unique!
Jeff, love the moon over the water!!! And quite some color on the moon too.
A little more luck finding fall color, though it's all on the ground so far. Maybe this is a late fall color season around here. Both D700 and 24mm f2.8 AIS.
Shooting into the sun, 1/30 @ f5.6
Looking the other way and about 100 feet upstream, 1/25 @ f8.0

I received my package of NHS back issues and current issue yesterday, looks like they are nicely done and I hope to spend time today looking through a few over a cup of fresh roasted coffee.
Regarding the S3, getting the glass I want is going to be tricky. I had to bend and get a Voigtlander 21 for the wide end, the Nikkor is very expensive now and apparently few left and the 28 doesn’t make since to me when I have a 35 already. I have two 50’s both F2 the H and HC. Maybe one longer one and then call it quits. I have an adapter being made to try them on the M.
It’s all been fun though and I am looking forward to that first roll of film through the S3, thinking I can send it off next week to The Darkroom, hope they do good work!

Ray, really love what you have done with the D700 and 75-150E... I would love to find a mint one.
There's got to be a ton of them around. KEH has one that's LN but priced accordingly. There's usually a bunch on *bay for well under $100. Get one, it's great. I used to have two but sold one off quite a few years ago now. Happy hunting.
Samy - the man in mid air is a great capture - well done. I don't think the 10.5cm f2.5 is the same optical formula as the later models. Not sure - I haven't checked - but for me it's a bit of a dud. I've been luck with the Nikon LTM lenses so far. I guess they can't all be winners.

ha ha...well I guess it depends what the syrup is. Never seen the popcorn on top - I guess the idea is to add texture. Food shots are fascinating.
Hint - it's a salted CARAMEL donut
Proper caramel though, not caramel flavoured or whatever, tasted amazing ! Sigh, this is why I'm fat
Another tropical storm this weekend so I didn't get to play with my new toy
much
It's supposed to clear out by Sunday so I can get out for a little while before winter sets in
A couple of first images just because I could
