I wanted to do something a little different yesterday so I headed downtown with the M and a bag of lenses, but I ended up only using 3 the whole time, the 15 3.5, 28 F2 and the 50 1.8 Series E.
So these is of a coffee company called The Roasterie in Downtown KC, a few of these are not my best work, tour was rather hurried and I am still learning my M and wasted time with settings. Really need a Tilt Shift lens to do this the right way. Maybe next trip!
Long story short, they air roast their product and customize products for local and national customers. You can come in and they will cup custom blends for your company and then let you co-brand and sell it. I really didn't have time to catch it all, so i will go again much better prepared.
John, I sincerely hope you continue to have success in cold conditions. Also, cold is not so much a problem for some, such as in the UK, as for others like me who spend a lot of time in real cold in the Adirondack Mountains. Ice is my favorite subject of all. For me, cold weather performance is absolutely a must. There are so many reports of A7RIIs failing below 0C that I just cannot risk it. Some of the reports I think may be due to the tiny battery, and error messages because of lack of adequate power. The new model will certainly improve on that. SONY recommends not using the A7RII below 0C. The D750 has been absolutely reliable below -10C for me. I will probably test it to even colder temps this winter. All my Nikons have been supremely reliable in very cold temps. The venerable FM worked perfectly down to -30C. Of course, that camera didn't require batteries, except for the unnecessary meter!

Dan, love the processing on the Auger Falls series. The details and sharpening seem right on on my screen.
Thanks for the feedback. I'm new to digital, and I am now trying the masking with sharpening. I'm also new to telephotos (I spent 30 years with two lenses - a Nikon 50mm 1.8 and an old crappy Tamron 28mm 2.8). I love the teles for looking down (and up) rivers!

LTZ, nice colors and pictures, we want more!
Don - The M is a journey, I definitely need better adapters for it so I broke down and ordered them from Amedeo.. expensive, but I am not able to fully exploit my arsenal without a little more precision. I did some comparisons today of 35mm and 50ishMM lenses today on the M and at one point I compared to the DF and there is a crispness that is missing on the M. One thing I find with Mirrorless is that even with focus peaking, focus is not as precise as with the green DOT and an OVF. But adapters are huge when your using 3P lenses, they are most definitely not all created equal and even the slightest milling variations or quality deviation results in imperfection. This is why getting them from someone like Amedeo makes a difference because I am sure he watches his specs to the nth degree degree. Anyways, I think my smaller Nikkors are going to be a blast on the camera. Not sorry I didn't wait for the A7rIII. 24MP is perfect for me, if anything, I want to get an M10 somewhere up the road.
To all I missed, I haven't seen a bad picture since I have been back, liked them all! And a thanks to all for likes and comments!
I've been enjoying taking food shots for the Donut Joint. I forgot to take any with a nikkor mf lens first time but remembered the 2nd time around. The lens being the NKJ 55mm f3.5 micro pre ai
