Great set of images Felix.
I can see many photographers and tripods high up the hillside beyond the lake.
Were you part of this group?
Colin
Gods no. I don’t like it when a place gets busy with lots of photographers.. Unfortunately this spot is rather famous..
I showed up early, saw that the conditions didn’t suit the classic shot, and decided to take a walk around the lake instead. Best decision of the day as I got some images I like.
Felix, great shots last page, love the exposure and atmosphere. Been shooting but not inspired recently. Weak attempt with the 3.5cm S to move things along.
Still no attractive fall color on trees, so you get to suffer with me as I try small bird photography with MFNG. At least with weather, season, and opportunity for such shots rapidly coming to an end, it will be short-lived.

Those Downy Woodpeckers don't migrate so they will be around all winter. Great pics!

I've got a feeling that the photographer may be the "weather" limitation, though in my defense <whine on> the number of cloudy days in the winter months in northwest Ohio is very limiting <whine off>. Our city is too small to make the list but we are surrounded by the four cities below, the number after the city is percent of winter days with heavy clouds:

Well, at least the Witch's photographer is using an EXCELLENT lens!
I only found two fiddle photos from the Nikkor-S.C. 55mm f1.2 ai'd that I liked. The main problem was I couldn't get close enough to the instrument. The Micro-Nikkor 55mm f3.5 ai on the other hand was in it's element - five keepers

Haha she needs to get hold of an Airesflex TLR with Nikkor Q.C lens to participate in this forum
Here are two pics made with "hybrid" lens types, shot originally my new Nikkormat, Virginia International Raceway, August or possibly July,1972. I scanned these this morning with the Z5-II and a Z-mount Tamron 90mm AF macro using the FTZ adapter.
I believe this was with the 50mm f1.4. Probably when I was working turn 4, classes G and H Stock (Bugeye Sprites).
I'm pretty sure this was turn 6, Formula Ford. One of the first pics, possibly the first, I ever shot with my new 200mm f4.
