Went for a stroll at Balboa Park again, this time I took the S3 and 50mm Millenium with BW film, but we will not see that for a couple of weeks.
It is summer here from 10 AM to 5 PM, very sunny and in the 70s.
Also took the Z6 with the 2.8cm 3.5 rangefinder lens, it had a filter on it so the corners cut sometimes, does not bother me.
Balboa Park is a large oasis of peace in the city, not overtaken by homeless people.

Some dodge and burn on that monochrome would make that shot really pop! I like it though, but a couple tweaks can make it better I think.
Thanks Kevin. Embarrassingly, dodging and burning is foreign dialect to someone whose PP tool is the free NX Studio.
Colin, excellent photographs of the Manhattan skyline and Lady Liberty from Liberty Island. I have not visited in a long spell and need to place on the to do list. You had super nice weather during your visit.
Short visit to London but it was great staying near Tower Bridge, a first. This is the view stepping outside the hotel's main entrance.
Finally got around to pulling some images off my 2nd Z5. Having somewhat better luck with it, but still struggling. The largest thing is that I am using both SD card slots. One is set to RAW, the other set to JPG. Camera is writing JPG to both slots and I can't figure out why.
Nikkor 55/1.2 (non-AI, I believe it's a K) SOOC, all processing was done in camera using the standard profile. Shot was at f/2.8.

That is so nice and clean, Kevin. I don't have my camera near and typically use NEF with overflow to the second card. I think what you need to change is the image quality should be NEF + JPG in the quality settings, in addition to setting the role played by the second card.

Maybe if you clear both cards completely, and double check the RAW+JPG is selected (plus their quality settings). Nikon claims the primary card will get the NEFs, and the secondary card will get the JPGs by default.
