The Nikkor 85mm f1.4 ais and the tc-16a - Barb has been at it again. This is a purple potato pie
From a King Arthur recipe. The pie has cardamom, orange, and ginger. She opted for the thyme spiced crumble topping (instead of marshmallow) On Thanksgiving she intends to cut the sugar 30-50% (delicious, but still a bit sweet) - It really is purple.

San Diegans out for a short drivee to the mountains go to a tiny town called Julian, high enough to catch snow. Took the 3.5cm 2.5, an easy lens to use.
At Julian the entertainments is apples. Apple pie, Apple cider.....

Must be some great pie. Looking at the second picture at max resolution, there's a person with a blue beanie who seems to have had great eye contact with the camera.
Asking for a friend, how do you tell when Apple pie had no sugar added?
For the essential Julian experience be sure to visit on the weekend!
I've experienced gridlock traffic before, but the place is so small it was claustrophobic.
At least it still exists, I thought it had burned down a few years ago.
Searching my photo database by lens and came across some 5DS-R photos from 2022 using the 25-50mm f4 ais Zoom-Nikkor. Another lens not used often enough.
