Matt, the sunset series is totally killer, excellent photographs.
Ray, very much enjoying your fall photographs, terrific color and creative compositions.
Samy, very nice series and great colors specially the fall capture.
Jay, good to see your architectural photography, terrific captures.
Pasteis de Belem, Lisbon a very popular bakery with locals and tourists.
It is an egg yolk pastry developed by entrepreneurial Catholic monks during the 18th century. The patent was sold to a sugar refinery who subsequently opened Pasteis de Belem in 1837 at its current location.
The space may appear small but the interior is surprisingly spacious. Over 20,000 are sold daily, price is 1.30 Euros.
Took this one as they were closing otherwise it would have been packed.
Harry, those look great. Paul, absolutely on the 28-50, here’s a couple more. Not often I’m happy with any zoom but it’s a good legacy option, though extreme corners aren’t that good. Be warned though, it wasn’t a high volume lens, so it isn’t expensive but a bit hard to find (makes for a fun search.)
My visit to West Nile Creek seems to have occurred during a high point in the local spider web production cycle, so my D800E and I grabbed a few shots of some well-populated bushes, with help from the 55 f/1.2 SC.

Thanks to everyone for sharing all of these wonderful autumnal colors.
In my neck of the woods (pun intended) the trees have been late to turn and, as usual at this time of the year, we have had numerous storms come through to wreck the scene. It has rained a lot (the ground is totally saturated) so there has been little inspiration to go out with a camera.
On the flip side I bagged a Mint- 100/2.8 E lens from a charity shop for £35 to go along with my recent 'fat-boy' 135/2. The 100mm is my first E-series purchase and it turned up in the post today.
It has a good reputation for use in IR and is a lot smaller than I expected.
The weather is forecast for some sunny spells tomorrow so I will put it through its paces. Having not bought a MF lens in ~5 years I have nabbed two in the last 3 weeks. I now have a watch on a 105/1.8.....
I guess you need all 4 previously mentioned lenses (85/105/135/180) to be a member of the Nikon, MF, full-fat-boy club. I have the 180/2.8 and 135/2 so can only wear the half-full-fat-boy badge.

When adapting the lens to my older Sony camera, there is no support for autofocus, so I shoot it as "Manual Focus Nikon glass".
That's fine Kenneth, but this thread is ONLY for manual focus Nikkors, NOT AF lenses that are manually focused. You should go read the very first post to see the "rules" of the thread.
Ken it was a nice reminder of the 2017 eclipse, neat to see the partially eclipsed sun through clouds. I remember it was cloudless here and I got a few captures. Unlike the one a few weeks ago when the cloud cover was complete.
If you don't mind manual focus, get hold of a manual Nikkor and it would be great to see your photos.

Yes, you are right. I have removed the photo. Thanks for pointing this out.
