Big things have been happening around here lately. Along with the not atypical array of captivating images, we have new contributors to the thread and, most momentous of all, Reagan connecting a Nikon lens to a Fuji body! I find myself involuntarily scanning the earth and sky for signs of further cosmically cataclysmic events to follow!
Thanks for your Likes and kind comments on my recently posted images. Here are the final few photos from my trip across Canada with my wife, my MFNG, and my X-E2. Once again, these come from the mountains that connect Alberta to British Columbia.
In the evening, after working all day and after supper, we like to chill out and watch a little TV. And every evening, the cat will lay on Barbara's legs.
Not sure who figured it out, but yes I am Billy, thanks for the friendly welcomes here. Been enjoying the 20mm 3.5 and already looking for another mf lens, possibly the 35 1.4.
I got these a few weeks ago. They're my first Nikon manual focus lenses. I've had Rokinons and Vivitars but these are my first Nikkors. I haven't had time to really use them but from the test shots, these are amazingly sharp. I think the 28mm is my favorite but I already have the 28mm 1.8G. Looking forward to posting more on here! Ben A, it appears that you didn't get an original lens cap for the 16 f/2.8 though. Welcome, and just to be safe, change the password on your paypal account and lock up your credit cards... this thread will cost you a small fortune

Lol. Yeah, that cap doesn't even fit right. But it did come with another plastic cap that's also loose but fits better.

Does the Diner at Sparta Airport still serve. SOS. Pretty good stuff!

[...]second hand D7100 that I recently sourced. It is destined to become my next IR camera. A 720nm filter is already in the post from Kolari in New Jersey so I have my instructions, soldering iron, air blower, cleaning cloths and screwdriver set on standby.
If anything has deserved a photo essay on how this is done, this is it!
With the advent of 3D printing, it may be possible to duplicate a proper one.
