Looking at the S/N, will have to email Roland on photosynthesis/co.nz to extend the S/N range for the Ai version

One beautiful lens Andy! great condition! I also extended the serial number of the AIS range and thought my lens was the last production lens but was proven wrong later.

Back during peak Covid times, when Australia wasn't accepting anything other than Priority Mail Express mail (EMS) a guy came in to send an LP that he sold to someone there. When I told him the only way it could get there was Express/EMS and it would be $80 US for shipping.... He wasn't very happy about it, but that was the only way it was getting there.

You are correct Laura. I did inquire if the seller would ship to Australia and if so how much the postage would be with USPS (6-10 days).
I was surprised to find the postage would be US$66 ! That's around AU$100. Ouch.
Given the exchange rate to the AU$ it wouldn't be worth it, might as well get one with free shipping from a Japan based seller on ebay.

Maybe we need to indoctrinate you into the "Blabbermouth Club".
You make me blush, Leighton . I hardly dare think of myself as an equal among such distinguished company. I'm sure there are others much more deserving of this high honour!

Ahh, success! Around here, it's a joy to see someone finally cave in to the gentle, relentless pressure, knowing that they will (eventually) be glad they did it! Was it Rafael's image-onslaught that finally broke you, Andy?

It's very nice to see another of your gorgeous, northern landscapes, Ronnie. Every one of them looks like a wall-hanger to me. You sure make that little fisheye sing!
For a change of pace from my long series of car photos, here are a few images from the annual sand sculpture display in Parksville, all in infrared from my X-T2, and all through the 24 f/2.8 NC.

Nikkor 300mm f2.8 ais. It also has excellent bokeh like the 200mm. In fact, it looks a lot like the 200mm - just a tad longer, and usually much less expensive.
