Leighton, although I want a 55mm f1.2 SC, I still prefer the 45mm f2.8P (such a lovely lens!!!). But I would definitely buy your 55mm f1.2 SC if you want to sell.
Thanks for the offer, but I think I'll keep it. If I sold it, I'd never get another one.

Seems my memory is going. First, I never contacted Topaz support - I made an inquiry on their
support forum. Nobody except me replied - which is never a good sign. Second, the improvements
were better than I remembered. This was only 15 months ago, and I don't see how eating ground
up jellyfish is going to help my memory at all.
Here were the times of two files that were so different it sparked my interest
Here is my look-see into nVidia based graphics cards
Wasn’t someone asking about the 105 1.8 a week or two ago? Took my copy out this morning, its an absolute beater but seems to do well enough for me, better closer up and wide open isn’t the most impressive but it’s f/1.8.
On another FM thread someone asked which was better - the 105mm f2.5, or the 105mm f1.8 ais.
There are differences, but "better" isn't one of them - IMO. This 5DS-R image is an unusual 105mm f1.8 ais photo, because I paired it with the TC-200 (which fits almost anything).
The R-Nikkor 5cm 3.5 prototype lens arrived, this particular sample is the second Micro Nikkor lens ever made by Nippon Kogaku. This is the mother lens to all micro and ultra micro Nikkors.
It is incredibly like new, these lenses were packaged in a tiny M39 bubble with a plastic S to M39 adapter to store the lens, I do not have that adapter, so used a cheap chinese one instead. but everything else is there. On the Z cameras it is deployed on an Amedeo adapter.
With this lucky accidental find I have entered Nikkor heaven, my right eye is healing nicely too, we will have a good time.
Congrats Rafael! Looks to be an excellent performer.

Edit - does it have a permanent UV filter like the 600mm f5.6 ais? (I see that rubber edging) - also, is part of the hood system built in? Mine is, but has a carbon fiber accessory extension.

So I took my new to me lens out, and my new to me camera, to see what it could do
Curious to hear your opinion… I am considering buying another Nikon body. I have multiple Fujis (that I like the recipes you can do with them) but I am thinking about changing things up to see if it sparks me shooting more.
I’m look looking at a Df or a Z5 and adapter. What do you think? Always wanted a Df, but am used to mirrorless. Thoughts?

Kevin, (not sure who the "your" is)
I've never used any Z body, but in your question you say - "Always wanted a Df". Maybe all you want right now is a Df?
I say - get a Df.

I would get a Df. If it doesn't work out, you will probably be able to sell it. They seem "wanted". My reasoning is that it will offer you something different to the mirrorless options you are used to now. It also offers you a native mount for your Nikon F lenses. The Z5 is a compromise that works(for MF lenses) but isn't as much of a joy to use once the FT-Z adapter is added.
It is much easier to take good pictures with the Z5, but it is also very, very boring.
