Guess my photography is getting relatively realistic images of what I see.
Love detail and sharpness, even in heavily OOF images there should be an anchor point of sharpness.
Plus I love 'my' ships.
The 50-300mm 4.5 ED ais matched the 45mp of the Z7 wonderfully. Here are some of the vessels that came and went last week as I was trying to capture Zumwalt. Check them out really large at Flickr, I post everything full size there.
Rafael, thanks for the explainer on the Rayfact lens and adapters, I get it now; I was stuck on the Nikon F lens on FTZ thinking without considering that there are adapters besides the FTZ. I also believe this is the first time we've seen shots from the 50-300 on the Z7. Outstanding lens and technique. I'll bet that pride in your work on something like the LPD 26-3 lasts a lifetime.
Regina, I don't think I've never noticed how low to the water those windows were in Amsterdam. How do they keep from getting wet be boat wake or wind driven water?
Good to see no reports of another tree down Leighton. Are you all stacked up with firewood yet from that previously downed tree?
Another set of the Jeepfest, this time with the 20mm f3.5 AIS.

Ray, I like the low angle Jeepfest panorama!
Airesflex TLR with Rolleinar for macro, Provia 100F.
This setup needs two Rolleinars so there's an equivalent one on the viewing lens also, as well as a Rolleiparkeil attachment on the viewing lens, for parallax correction.

Lovely...but I also need to Google Rolleinar and Rolleiparkeil.
Found my 105 2.5 today. I could not remember where I stashed it when we moved since I couldn't put it in a camera bag with its "bottle". Lovely lens and oh so compact. It's outlasted Sigma 105mm OS Macro, Nikkor Micro 105mm VR, 105mm f1.4E. Kind of miss the Nikkors sometimes but heavier lenses struggle to get out of the house much.
