Thanks Jim - it is a great spot. And one of the easiest/shortest trails in the area. I was really surprised that nobody else was out there. Especially with the weather forecast this weekend. Yesterday was the only good day.

George,
What a beautiful spot, and I love the in situ gear being included.

Nightwatchman Constable John Gray acquired a stray Skye Terrier to serve as his companion on the evening tours. The two became inseparable until Gray's passing in 1858. For the following 14 years, Bobby refused to leave his masters grave site regardless of weather conditions. The public took notice of Bobby's devotion and cared for him plus built a shelter on site.

There is a small bronze stature of Bobby by William Brodie across the pub which was erected in 1872.

Haven't had the 85mm f1.8 HC (Nikki) out for a while. Here's the side of the barn you don't see much. That tractor you see a part of is my John Deere 755. I bought it brand new in 1989 and it still runs like the day I got it.
In 40 years of photography, I still have the anticipation and excitement of getting back from a trip to see what turned out on those rolls of film. I love digital, but still enjoy the occasional session with film.

We get back Wednesday. And as a bonus, my local shop will now develop C-41 120 film. They do not scan or print 120, but all I want is the negatives anyway.

Jim, this last IR series is outstanding, especially the first two.
Serge, keep Scotland coming (and the stories as well). That Calton Hill shot is terrific.
George, we are the beneficiaries of your BTS with a Z7ii, makes perfect sense to share the lenses.
A short session at the botanical gardens today. 35mm f2.0 O lens.
Great moon shot Jim! Incredible detail
Love the pattern in those ferns Ray. Good composition!
Serge - I agree with Jim. Love your travel photos and the information you provide with them
Samy - good view with the 28PC. I didn't think that was Baltimore
Leighton - great to see Nikki getting some love. I love barns and tractor shots
