You are probably getting fed up with the repetitive nature of my snowy panos so this is most likely my last offering. 50/2 HC
The restaurant/bar in the left of frame has one heck of a view.
Just down from the Eiger glacier cablecar station looking towards the Lauberhorn and Tschuggen peaks. Worth looking at the original to see the detail of ski lifts and off-piste ski tracks. No need for me to go "off-piste" when a $30 50mm can do an admirable job at landscapes.

The 50mm panos are amazing, Colin. I am not fed up, yet.
Hi all
I dug out my old 105/2.5 ais and brought it out for a ride around home.
This is the tiny chapel of Saint Laurent d'Oingt located at the top of the Mont-Joli hill in the Beaujolais vineyrads.

You guessed it - another 50/2 HC pano.
This one from the Eiger Express just after boarding it in Grindelwald.
A 15-minute cable-car ride transports you from the Grindelwald Terminal at 937 m above sea level to the Eigergletscher station at 2328 m. The cable car ride is 6,483 m (~4 miles) long.
Working on computers and wiring today I came across a 3TB drive that I thought was a goner. Found I bunch of 2016-2018 photos (these are from 2013) and some were shot with the 105mm f2.5 ais. It is another lens I constantly have guilt about not using enough.
Here is the lens in question shot with the 28mm f2.8 ais
Here are three shots with the 105mm f2.5 all shot wide open at f2.5

I stumbled upon these birds while looking for somewhere to camp. Apparently, they have only nested in this small inlet next to the caravan park for the last 2 years after bad weather the previous year.
I have seen these birds in Australia but only from a long long way away in the middle of a lake. To be this close to them, see their mating dances/rituals such as giving each other nesting materials or puffing out their neck feathers was an unbelievable experience.
Of course, I sold my 500PF before my trip so had to make do with manually focusing the Z6ii + 180ED + 2X TC so not really detail in the feathers but man, that dark inlet and green background was to die for.
I did go back later in the trip hoping to see chicks but they hadn't yet arrived (the chicks are zebra coloured and ride on the parents backs)
