Thanks to everyone for the recent likes. Here are a few more from my recent trip to the Rocky Mountains. This was my first visit to Colorado. What a beautiful state!
I primarily used AF lenses on my Nikon D610, but these were all taken using a Fujifilm X-E1 with Nikkor 24mm f/2.8 AI.

+1
I'm with Leighton, the last two are my favourites. And it's so interesting to see that old nikon on tbe X-E1. It's come up much better than I would have imagined.
Chin - interesting recipe. Field curvature - seriously?! actually the sight of raw prawns, peeled and tranlsucent like that is a little unsettling.
Yes, Philippe is the reason for the end of night Opera House shots. I still take too many Opera House shots I live fairly close to it so it's a bit of a no- brainer to go there and snap away. But that's the problem. I cringe whenever I post those shots, I can almost feel his distaste and I acknowledge in the titles that they're "b" shots (we don't use the word anymore, there's no need, you just have to say "b"- nuff said). Yes, I still ride the freelines, but not as often.

Thanks all for your likes and comments on my recent posts. Here is another set from my D800E atop Sugarloaf Mountain, showing: 1) a bit of residential Nanaimo with Mount Benson in the background (24 f/2.8 NC); 2) a subsection of Departure Bay and surrounds (135 f/2.8 QC); and 3) my wife looking out toward the entrance to Departure Bay (24 f/2.8 NC).

And Ben serendipitously reappears on the thread...
Anyone thinking what I'm thinking?
huh? what is it you'e thinking? have you lost your marbles?
you know you've got to cook those prawns don't you? raw shellfish is not a thing.
Nothing serendipitous about my return. Leighton saw I was posting a lot of nikon pics on Flickr and said I should come "home". And Leighton having spoken , I had no choice.
Ram - that Suches pic looks even better on here than on flickr - maybe it's just the darker background that shows it off more.
