Very nice shots, Andy. When photographing shiny cars, it seems that one just needs to become resigned to the inevitable distorted selfie.
On Sunday, my wife and I visited the very nearby (about 5 minutes by car) Neck Point Park, where we were treated to a display put on by a pod of passing orcas. I happened to be photographing a heron with the 135 f/2 on my shiny new X-T4, when I heard the distinct sound of air being exhaled through blowholes. Here are four of the photos I managed to get of this awesome experience (there'll be a few more to come when I get back into Lightroom). I especially like the looks on the faces of the two young lads in the fourth image (to the extent that their looks can be deciphered at this amount of cropping).

Congrats on the new kit. If you're like me, you'll see the difference in the sensors and the processors. Nice pics of the Orcas. I wouldn't want to be those guys in what appears to be a dingy.
Guess Adobe has a sense of humor, they thoughtfully included a BLUR parameter in my file export workflow, and when set to 1 results in a fuzzy output.
I reposted the blurry shots on the last page at 0 setting.

I was all set to watch the launch, then the hold. What a bummer. Hopefully, it will go on Friday.
As someone who has worked in this industry for nearly a decade now and been through the highs and lows, I'm pulling for successful troubleshooting and launch. It's incredibly complex and is challenging whether you are moving fast or slow.

Amazing experience Glen ! Would love to have been in one of those kayaks. I used to work with someone who kayaked in Alaska and you could see them far below in the crystal clear waters and was always jealous of him. But yeah, it would be a little unnerving !
As for selfies in reflections, yeah I guess you just need to be aware of them and adjust position accordingly to make it work like I did there.
Or:
Set camera on tripod.
Install Remote Shutter Trigger
Move to side.
Shoot photo.
Walla.. no selfie.

Good to see you Alan. Yes, I thought you worked in the industry. Didn't you even move to Texas for that reason? Anyway, I want you to fix this problem.

I'm originally from TX so it was handy that an internet millionaire decided to take over the rocket test facility in our backyard for his space company. I don't work at NASA so I'm unfortunately not the guy you need (although I have worked with a few folks who worked on RS25's and shuttles which has been really cool).

Been visting and revisiting the same subject. I can't seem to find the image that is in my head - so after three tries I am gonna give it a rest for a bit.
