I'll add to the recent black and white coastal theme from AdaptedLenses and Andy and outstanding IR shots from Colin.
Below are a couple from my quick road-trip to the NC coast yesterday. Both with the PC-NIkkor 28mm/3.5
Andy - this is another lens that does fairly well to cover the 44x33 sensor.
Also, if you are interested in historical pirates, the wreckage of Edward Teach's (Blackbeard) ship Queen Anne's Revenge is about a mile to the right of the frame in the first picture below in 28' of water.

Oh wow! That last wide open shot is on another level.
The composition, processing and a hint of flare all work perfectly.
You are setting the bar high George, very high.
I'll bet the color version isn't too shaby either....

Yesterday the monsoon moisture was intense in San Diego, we do not get the rain Tucson does as we are in the wrong side of the mountains for that flow, but we did get a weird sunset - a color the thorium lens loved
The 70mm 5 micro came, lens itself is like new, will show it later. Build of this lens is heavy and dense, looks like a 5cm 2.8 enlarger lens but it is significantly bigger and heavier. Glass would support 2.8 aperture but there is a fixed aperture setting it to 5.0 max to assure its performance.
Lens was easy to deploy accurately with a Lei-Nik Novoflex adapter on a Kipon F to Z focusing helicoid.
I was very impressed with the performance, the Z6 is not enough camera for a lens like this, it will support a 55mm image circle, good for large format.
These are test shots at 5.0, the first is a portion of a 4k TV screen, it needs to be seen at 100% on flicker to see how well the pixels are rendered sharp and distortion free corner to corner.
The next two test shots are of small leaf trees, and encina and a Peruvian pepper tree. The level of detail is incredible, need to be seen really large. The Redbook pages do not do justice to its performance, their samples are not very sharp.

Both of these are outstanding! Definitely wall hangers.

George, these are absolutely fantastic! Love them both.
It has the original front and rear caps, but were not shown on the photo, I once bought a set of Multiphot lenses but ended returning them as the optics had been damaged by years of being mounted in a lab.
This 70mm 5 micro is very similar to the Multiphot lenses in construction, and also to the 55mm 1.2 CRT, should be very deployable. There were 4000 55 1.2 CRTs made and about 400 of this 70mm 5 micro.
George,
The image quality of your CFV II 50C/907X looks amazing. Think I better use my copy of the PC-NIkkor 28mm/3.5 wide open soon. Any filter for the sky?

A mini light study with one 2" x 2" light panel, and one flower. Focus stacks using the Canon 5DS-R and the Nikkor-P.C 55mm f3.5 ai'd micro. Lighting and exposure are the only reasons for the differences in the appearances. These are in chronilogical order, but the first is the one I spent the most time manually tweaking aesthetically. Personally, I think I failed to improve the shot in the next four YMMV.
Thanks Jim! No filter on the lens. Converted to black and white in Lightroom and used the black and white mix sliders. Primarily blue channel along with dehaze for the sky

Just bought a mint example from Japan to replace my beater that I used to photograph my daughter's dog. This is the 2nd time I have done this ! Will I never learn
I'd give you the beater copy Leighton but it would probably be cheaper to buy one there than to post one from here to the U.S.
Loved those shots with the PC 28/3.5 George. I now have a copy on the way which is absolutely the last lens I'm buying before I go to NZ !
