A bit further down the track, we found some water and a few amphibic inhabitants. Not sure how much longer the water will be a landscape feature. It looked awefully dry

Good to see you Buddy. I agree with others about Anouk.

A few shots using the 50/2 H in London today. The camera and lens make a great combo.

I'll add a quick shot to contribute to the weekend efforts... Finishing up restoration of a thrift market find. Solid old chest of drawers. Thing is built like a tank. All mortise and tenon, and dovetails. I don't see a nail anywhere. Even has working skeleton key locks. Can't even guess how old this is, but was definitely was not made in a factory.
I just finished a last rub of orange oil and beeswax. My son is going to use it as a TV/entertainment stand.
Best part, it was $55. Just had to replace with some wood knobs, fix a couple joints with some wood glue and clamps, some elbow grease on the finish and I think it will last another lifetime. Sort of like these old lenses

Sorry I have been absent, did get bad food poisoning, but now on the mend.
Felt so sick did not even go to Cruising grand.
But the extra time let me find this jewel, soon to be mounted on a manual focusing adapter for the mirrorless Nikon Z.
EBAY photos. Box will need a little refinish, but is good

It has the original front and rear caps, but were not shown on the photo, I once bought a set of Multiphot lenses but ended returning them as the optics had been damaged by years of being mounted in a lab.
This 70mm 5 micro is very similar to the Multiphot lenses in construction, and also to the 55mm 1.2 CRT, should be very deployable. There were 4000 55 1.2 CRTs made and about 400 of this 70mm 5 micro.

The CRT came with a box and papers, but not quite as elegantly packaged and does not bring a certificate

The lighthouse. There were the foundations of the original Lighthouse Keeper's cottage nearby, 2 bedroom, kitchen and living room, no inside bathroom or toilet, the first keeper and his wife had 11 children !

The main attraction for me, the rocks columns are hexagonal, formed by molten lava. Like Giant's Causeway in N.Ireland.
