Or one can realize that expensive lenses are not needed for good photography, this below is not the $1,000 Nikkor O but the $75 50mm 2.8 EL, nice up close, soft at a distance open, but oh so sharp at a distance at f/11.

I'm calling these "Drive-by Landscapes", because they were shot while moving with the 35mm f1.4 ais
Which do you prefer-Color or Black & White?

A fun day for fungus with the 135mm f2.0 ai from a few years ago. Some of these are of a fungus I have never seen before or since. Bright purple fungus growing in incised knife cuts on a beech tree. The kids near this 104 acre park seem to like to carve into the smoothish bark
I checked to see if anyone posted this but couldn't find it. Anyways thought you guys would like to read this in your spare time.
The photographer has 3200 undeveloped rolls of film of rock and roll legends. He was mainly a Nikon shooter so I thought it appropriate to share with all the MF shooters.

Receiving USS Elmo Zumwalt at Naval Base San Diego last evening.
Nikkor 35-200mm 3.5 a beautiful lens I do not use much, it has so many moving elements that samples remaining in good condition are rare. In new condition it is an excellent lens, particularly at 5.6 on up. It was a milestone of range and size, pricey when new, inexpensive now. These are at 1:8. see them in Flickr at 100%.
