James, the issue with wires is one reason why I typically prefer not to stitch in any urban situation and prefer one superwide shot that I correct later. I typically don't need anything with that much resolution anyway, and the D800 had plenty to spare for my purposes. I am feeling the pinch a little with the Z5's 24MP, but I think it's more being used to 36MP than a real shortcoming. If I can find a stictch I made of a building (with a a lot of manual cleanup of wire IIRC) I'll post it.
Rafael, I prefer the 16mm f2.5, though the other two have their charms as well. The middle part of the sunstar with the 15mm is truly funky.
Scott, nice and sharp with the 24mm f2.0. I toyed with replacing the 24 f2.8 with the 2.0 last fall (I think I was just bored), then decided (based on internet research, however good or questionable that might be) that I would not be happy at shooting f2.0, so best to save some $$$....Show more →
Some shots are extremely difficult like the edge of hell, you havea bridge behind you, if there were a 5mm lens you might get it in as single shot, or with a 8mm Fisheye, but then to make it look real your dealing with extreme distortion.
That said, the next weekend the weather is right, I will give it go. I have a hunch the distortion may play well with the subject-matter. Ie twisted evil! Lol. Sometimes it takes a bit to get ones true eyesight for photos back. I feel the Fuji MF camera is unleashing me again. Just something about it! I feel the Zone coming again soon! Can't wait!
Just happened to come across this picture, its from humanity's pre-pandemic era. This was circa 2014. Posting for memory's sake. S2 and 10.5cm f2.5 PC, also with Tri-X. Not self-developed.
Fashion show at Baltimore's historic Lexington Market, Dec. 2014. I haven't been there in years. There's a wholesale renovation going on in that market.

I remember this one, Samy. Your shots of Baltimore makes it seem like a place I would enjoy. Normal people doing happy things. “The Wire” though, makes me wonder how close to reality it was and how much of Baltimore is that scene.
Siphiwe this is reality too in the city Btw I have never watched that show.

Had the disectomy and disc replacement first thing yesterday morning. Started a course of physio today. Thought the op seems to have gone according to plan, it seems like I’m really going to be doing little over the next 6 weeks.
Glad to hear the procedure went smoothly Siphiwe! It will be a lot of effort but stick with it and you will be back to normal.

Oh okay. Also not my favourite genre but the acting was top notch and I enjoy that. Also did not watch all seasons as it had less of the happy and more of tha hard knock life. I love people so your portrayal of the city unlike what I see for NY for instance, appeals to me. Please don’t tire of sharing.

My wife had a similar procedure six months ago and had a lot of soreness from rehab. All should be well as every day she reports it’s a little better.

That's a good start. All the best for a steady recovery.
